does anyone know where I can get my car washed in Philly other than a place which uses brushes??? my car is hurting and it needs a wash to get rid of all that s*** they put on the roads.
if you could direct me to a touchless car wash or manual self serve car wash that would be awesome... within the city and or near or around the city

there's definiltey some on Roosevelt/ rt. 1 and there's a few up north on aramingo. sorry for the lack of details, but i usually just go to the king of prussia/norristown to wash my car when i'm there.
edit: oh you're the guy from temple. yea, there's aren't many in our area, except for the one on broad by the dunkin and gas station (in between cecil b and girard). i think it was just redone or else i'm seeing things when i go by there. my car needs a good washing too and i'm on campus so i know how you're feeling.
Intersection of Bustleton and Grant (on bustleton) has a self serv one.

hey Alex -
If you want one near school - 11th and Spring Garden.
The car goes on the conveyor belt, but it's all done by hand. Great place, good people. If I'm not feeling like washing it myself, I take the car there.
If you want to wash your own car...
The self-wash place a the Franklin Mills Mall is the best. Only $2 (I usually use like $5 worth, though), and keep it pretty clean (open 24/7).
Both locations use Ardex products. Mike (AUTORACENBBOY) works for them, great products - all I use on my car.

^^true, I hate when the person before you leaves the brush on the ground, facing down. I try and avoid those ones.
In Manayunk, located at a gas station, self wash with the brushes....costs $2.50 for about 5 minutes worth of washing. I'm drawing a blank on the name of the street it's on. I'll get back to you guys on that.

If your car is slammed, you'll NEVER be able to take it to a car wash like that.
I dunno...my Z is stock height, but the front end sits pretty friggin low and is alright

I was going to suggest this place. I used to work across the street. Tons of beautiful cars go through this car wash.
