If everyone wants when I get home I will make a build thread.
I don't know how much interest there would be in a Turbo LS1 build. The car is getting my old turbo kit once I go through it and repair the seals.

I really appreciate it though!

Good ****, I'm always up for a good LS1 turbo build. :)

Actually debating doing it myself.

Let me know if you need help bro. My pm box is always open. If I don't know, I can find the answer for ya. Even if ya need help finding a clean one, I can do some legwork for ya. Alot of guys are going to vettes now that they are getting cheap.

I'm still very undecided, what I want to do is a lot of money away from being finished and I'm only 19 lol.

I'll keep it in mind for sure, just need to pay the car off first. Thanks though!

I love these cars, and especially if it was turbo. It would look sick with a nice set of black wheels. Hopefully you end up doing the journal, it be a good read for me.
In the end what made her buy this over a 03-04 cobra?

She got a great deal  Few thousand under bluebook. However you'd be surprised how many people wouldn't talk to her or consider her seriously cause she was a chick.

I don't think so? Got it off of Tech.

I'll end up doing a journal I guess if people want to see it.
Basically we were searching for an 03-04! However Cobra owners REFUSE to pay blue book for the cars. I'm not pay 3-4K over bluebook for a ANY mustang. Sorry LOL. It got stupid how arrogant some of them were. ANYWAY in the end she is happy with this and all those Cobras are still for sale.

I don't get it, the demand for those cars isn't there anymore with the GT500 available. Oh well, they passed on a serious buyer. But we did try.

I think there was, I mean at least for the people that could afford them, factory Supercharged isn't exactly something thats normal, especially with mustangs, they are always all motor.

PhillyLS1

Yea, seriously @ the Cobra owners. Also how much do they make stock to the wheels (SS's that is).
LS1's will make anywhere from 290-330hp to the wheels stock. It really depends on the "freak" make up of the motor. I've seen um run as high as 14.0 and as low as 12.8 stock. Depends on the driver etc.
there was demand for those cars?
Well think about it. For years for Mustang owners had a slushbox 2V car that was hard to mod, hard to work on, and hard to make power with. The motors are like glass. They grenade around 380-400hp. So when a fordged, iron block, 32V, 4Cam, Supercharged, 6-Speed came out all the Ford Fan-Boi's went nuts LOL. There is a VERY loyal market for the Ford Mustang/Cobra. Problem is that these cars are only valuable to someone in th Ford community or someone willing to mod a car to race. NADA doesn't recognize modability. So what it's worth to the community isn't what it's worth to everyone else.

I'm not married to a badge (yeah I lean towards domestics) but I can pass up an overpriced car regaurdless of how it's thought of on the street and it's potential.

She saw this and wanted instead. Can't really blame her.
Completely stock. 6Speed. Aparently she found out it'll beat a local Mach 1. Who knows I'm in Iraq, I gotta look at it. It could have a cheater cam for all I know and sound stock.

Nice find. I don't think it is a WS6 though. Philly I hope things are going well in Iraq and hope you get back safe and sound in April I think right. And Kristin (I hope I spelled that right haha) good luck with the new car. Did you get rid of your mustang or what? I will be very upset if you did. That car was perrty.

its definitely a ws6... i made sure on the doorcodes!! Yea I sold the stang about a month and a half ago. thanks, i liked it too, but mechanically i didn't want to deal with the modular engine .. besides ive always had my eye on gettin a ws6 so why the hell not :) lolol

well each person has their personal preference .. see i hate the pewter color, it was either going to be white, silver, or black with white being my 1st choice. And the wheels, while they are not fantastic, they have a cool story behind them so I will def be puttin em in the garage after i get my welds.

I don't think I could ever talk to you again now that you got rid of your mustang. Just kidding, I want to hear more about it whenever I talk to you again online. Do you have any spare parts laying around by any chance? Ok my fault on the WS6 part. You going to go with the Weld Draglites? I think those look the best on the firebirds.

i'd love to do welds. its a PITA though there are rear clearance issues so the calipers have to be ground down... Umm only spare part i really had was my roush wing and i gave that to my friend for his gf. if you are lookin for fox parts my dads got a whole ton in the garage.

EDIT** I do have that plastic cover that goes on the bumper for the grille delete. An old stock radio .. some brushed aluminum interior trim thing i never used.... I'll look when I go home this weekend.

The calipers take about an hour to clearence. Go to home depot, get a ginder and go to work :-p Use my Welds as an feference. With the power I'm gonna be putting to the ground with a 6-speed I'm gonna need 315's anyway, so you'll probably be sporting those rims anyway.

HickRocket1258

See take the time and grind those calipers and then that car will look oh so nice with Welds. It is worth the time when you try to get your car to look a lot better.

Yeah, they are RPO code N66. I personally don't like them. I think she threw on my torque thrusts II's on the car today.
Probably just keep those as spares.
