Yeah sorry mods, not sure if this was going exterior or what category so i threw it here. Story short...After Foo Fighters Concert last night, guy in front in youcon, smashed on breaks, swervede out of lane, i hit him from behind, his practically bus is almost perfectly fine and my car is horrible. I need some body guy to throw me estimates or something and jus tell me anything you can. Never been in accident before so i dont even know where to start. From what i see:
A) HOOD
B) GRILLE
C) Front bumper (only part nest to headlight)
D) Headlight (whole set up fine, just two shards inside the headlight which apparently arnt making a difference)
Is it easier for me to buy the crap off like ebay then take somewhere? How long? prices, i dunno im going crazy here. P.s Car drives fine.

Ok I'll give you some real advice being an appraiser.
you're def going to need a hood, right headlamp, bumper cover, and grill.
Aftermarket they cost $250, 165, 150, 65. Like Igo said the rad support may have been tagged and the condensor or rad may also be ddamaged.
Since you have a 2004 go through your insurance as I hope you still have full coverage.

i agree^^^, i used to work for honda,
u need, hood, bumper cover, grill, and p/s headlight. it looks like ur hood took about 80% of the hit but there is a 10-20% chance u may have hit or bent ur rad support

would it be cheaper if i bought the parts then took it somewere? Like i found the grille, hood and bumper all on ebay. This way i will get raped on labor and not parts and labor

it probably will be cheaper to get the parts from a junkyard but if you do buy from ebay get oem parts after market parts are ****ty and usually it does fit right then go to a private place and get to do do it

I can get you these aftermarket parts for less than I what I posted. it will be cheaper if your puchase the parts yourself.

You're going to need a hood, pass headlight (looks like the mounting tabs broke), grille, front bumper, two hood hinges, and either spend a lot of time playing with that rad support or drill it off and weld on a new one.
Just have the rad support straightened out, put the body panels on yourself it's really easy.

What he said... I had to do it twice and it wasn't bad :-D A chain and a tree can do wonders on much heavier damage :bump:

Once here. If you don't have to replace the rad support don't. I can see in the picture that it's bent for sure though. You may also need a new hood latch and cable. Unfortunately since all of that stuff is locked together when the hood bends up like that it breaks everything. Ask me how I know. :(
Your hood hinges are ****ed something bad. They're not exactly cheap either... I just bought two for my car and they were like $50. You will also probably need to hit the mounting points for those with a hammer multiple times to make everything sit level again, oh, and make sure when you put the hood hinges back on you silicone the edges before you bolt them down.
Grille you don't really need if you don't want. Front bumper you may be able to keep for now and replace it later when you get the money. Headlight you will probably need to get, like I said the mounting flanges are probably broken off.
www.certifit.com. They're fairly cheap and the fitment is pretty good, I have had two front ends now from them and I can't really complain for the price that I bought them at.
Good luck dude, and if you get a chance get that hood up and take some pictures so I can see what's going on underneath and up by the hood hinges as well.

thansk guys, well theres no way i can do any of that, not that i can't, i just dont trust myself. The pass headlight, why would i have to get replaced? It is perfectly fine, jus may need to be aligned or something, The hood yeah i figure MAY need to be replaced (cough cough). Th bumper i can deal wit, i dont mind payin for that down the road and not now. I can see under the hood partially from the side and the highest thing is the intake, and its perfectly fine. so i am guessing and hoping everything is good. The thing i am jus confused about is how much is me being raped bya body shop for painting of a hood and instal of whatever i need to replace. My father said $4 K and i thought that was ridiculous (yes i am sure someone is now going to say pay me that blah blah) and i was thinkin it cant be more then 1500. anyone got ball parks? or reccomendations who or where to take it?
Thanks in advance guys

This place for real or am i reading this wrong?
Grille (04/05) 9.95
Hood (04/05) 55.75
Bumper (04/05) 35.62
If you don't trust yourself, get a buddy who's done this before....or buy me beer  I once replaced both fenders, both bumpers, hood, and both headlights for 400 delivered to my door... so that lace is for real

It's for real, and it's on my car.:)
You need to open the hood, I would bet money that the pass headlight mounting tabs are broken off. Look up the headlight on certifit too. ;)

Even if you don't have full tort, you can still get it replaced under your insurance as long as you pay the deductible right? Seems like you should be safe as long as you don't have the "good-enuff-insurance" The kind that's only good enough to be on the road...

Don't call then. If you don't have collisions, you're not covered. All you're going to do is report it by telling them that, and since it's your fault... well you get the idea.
