At first I was just looking for a 240 but it'll be hard to find one decent in my price range. So now i'm pretty much looking for a reliable/fun to drive 5sp carfor around $1800 max. Doesn't have to be anything sick. If you have anything post up pics and info.

i can sell mine for 1500

runs good i drive it daily to work its a 40 mile round trip

the major issues with it are that the underside is very rusty, and it needs an inspection.

the ignition is a screwdriver at the momeny because my genius roomate broke the key in half.

i have found a replacement ignition on ebay for like $60

i can get one of the repalcement keys that i had made to work the doors with a litle work to it.

and the heat takes forever to get warm, i assume it neeeds a thermostat

but as i said, it runs and drives excellent. and the interior is one of the best interiors i've seen on an s13

it just needs some cosmetics and rust repair.

Can it be inspected with the rust? Do you have any pics of it?

i'm honestly not sure if a mechanic would pass it or not, i guess it depends on who you go to.

i have my inspection license and i had to look up the code and it still wasn't very clear to me.

i beleive this falls into the mechanics discretion category.... as far as i know though the hold in the hatch youll see in the pics will need to be covered though be it duct tape whatever as long as they're covered.

i would fix it i simply don't have the time right now

other than the rust and the ignition that car should pass inspection with no issues, all lights work correctly, drives straight, stops well, i just replaced a rusted out brake line... etc..

the tires have decent tread but i saw some signs of dryrotting but 195/15's can't be expensive.

ill take some. im waiting to find out if im gonna get this other car then ill know for sure if its going up for sale. most likely though. its a 91, reg cab, 2wd, 5 speed, 130k, brand new clutch 2k miles ago, inspected til 1/09. perfect little beater truck. i hate to sell it, but i REALLY want the other car.
