when i look outside at my srt-4... i picture the another car in its place... metallic blue, a coupe... the fresh clear coat sparkling in the sun.
every time i drive i think about another car... i think about what it'd be like to be sitting on supple black leather accented with red leather... the feel of the brand new clutch, the shift knob in my hand... the inline 6 purring as I slip it into first gear... easing into second as i pull onto 422 on my way to work... only to hear the two turbos spool and giving me a rush and the speed to break into the passing lane...
i can't wait for the 135i to come out... its the car i've been waiting for...

As far as I knew the 1 series wont get it. Its supposed to be what the BMW owners really want. my question is what happens to the Z cars?

<== not impressed with iDrive or the SMG (I can't repeat how many people petitioned to get a true manual in the M5/6, and save your "it's faster on the track" nonsense for people who actually drive on the track religiously), but I do like their quality.
What happened to the CTS?

i said 135i.. not 335i ;P
OZ... i knew very very little about the 135i when i started looking into the cts :)
I may go for a 2 year lease on a 135i and drive that till the manual challenger comes out lol

same motor...im just not impressed power wise. youd think theyd squeeze more out of it in stock form. dont get me wrong its a fun car, just think i was expecting more.

ah, did not know that :o
still... i'm sure it won't take much to pull more horsepower from that engine.
OZ: cause it looks bad ass... I hate leasing though... so I'll probably just finance the 135i and buy a classic muscle car somewhere down the line...

Yea but it is probably going to be terrible, and a complete waste of $$!

Yeah my car has the same engine as the turbo Forrester so it is safe to compare them as the same car right?
Scapegoat I am totally with you on this. It's all I've been talking about to my girlfriend. I saw it and now it's just pure lust lol. 2 door, twin turbo BMW throw it to me in black and I am a very happy camper. I need to get a house first but then I am getting one.

I do love the new GTR but the price is significantly less for the 135 so I am staying realistic for now.

I've raced a 335i in my Supra when it was stock, and I pulled on him pretty good, about 1-2 car lengths by 110 (from 50). The 135i seems very promising indeed but the more I look at it, there's something about the looks that I don't like... A lightweight I6 TT car is gonna be pretty quick.

The 135i should be a little faster and handle better than the 335i due to the fact that it will be lighter. I would do a search and check out the BMW Tii concept. It's basically the "M1" although they'll never brand a car that again for the sake of maintaining the legendary M1's status.
