I grew up a few miles from Willow Grove Naval Air station, so I fell in love with jets at an early age. I could sit on my front lawn and watch the air shows every year. How can you not love them!

Fort Dix/ McGuire has one every year. Last year had a static F-22 display, F-18 demo, f-117 pass, A-10 demo, KC-10, KC-135, F-4, P-51 (greatest sounding prop plane EVER!) and the Thunderbirds. They also had the Geico skytypers who fly Wildcats I beleive, Army Golden knights parachute team and a guy in a hang glider. Not sure who will be there this year but I am hoping for a F-22 demo.

One day I will make it out to Thunder in the Desert at Edwards airforce base. They are so far from civilization they actually start the show with a real mach 1 pass, sonic boom and all. Not the mach .97 passes we get here that only form a compression bubble and leave us lacking.

The last airshow i was at was lycoming days. It was all prop planes but was very, very impressive. I would love, love to get to see a p-51 demo, as would i love to see a p-40 demo(i have never seen one in flight). That first video is ****ing sick, so ****ing sick. Have you guys all watched any of the Blue Angles specials on HD Theater? OMG, they are nuts. You can see the reflections of the pilots IP's off of their helmet visors. Also, I didn't know this. None of them wear a flight suit, so they must hold all those g's just by manning up. Crazy.

I really hope they keep the Warthog around forever. I love that flying cannon.

The Lockheed Martin jet plant is right on the lake.. and well, I was right across from it and saw an F-22 take off, do some fly bys and land.. and then 20 minutes later three of them took off and flew around. It was freakin awesome.. the F-22 is so freaking loud!

I was also up at a show when I was younger up north.. but it was WWII show.. but an F-18 superhornet showed up, and boy did he put a show on when he took off and left. Full after burner fly by ftmfw.

Also, down in Virginia Beach I watched a few F-14's (my all time favorite jet) take off and fly around the base down there.

I was on the USS Roosevelt (carrier) for family day in Norfolk, VA and it was so sick. It was the weekend they retired the F-14. We wet 30 miles out and they were passing, breaking the sound barrier, and shooting **** in the water. I'm pretty sure a couple infants spontaneously combusted with all the f-in noise. Only bosses whip jets, and thats a fact!

When I was about 14 my cousin, my uncle, and I were fishing out in the middle of the Delaware bay... and an F16.. maybe 70-150 feet high just freakin buzzed the hell out of us. The thing had to be doing close to 600 mph. It was BOOKING.... but no sonic boom. I know they can go past the sound barrier on open seas, but definitely not the bay. Probably the coolest fly by I've ever experienced..

My flight instructor told me about a gunnery range, I think its called Warren Grove, where you can go and watch jets drop bombs and strafe targets. He went and saw an a-10 light up a few cars. I am not sure if you can still go watch, he did it a few years ago, but it would be awesome.
