Well took the Z out friday... its been a while

Saturday afternoon while heading to work i get stopped on 611 before the turnpike...
I got a $108 ticket because my tint was too dark. It register 17% on the device...
While stopped he also asked me about my FOP badge. i told him a friendlly police officer had givin it to me from previous dealings. He said he can fine me for impersonating a police officer and he believes that was my first intentions, then he removed the badge and said "confiscated!"

Sunday, on my way home from my first prenatal dr's apt which was like a 4 hour wait because the dr had to run out for an emergency c section.

On the way home (from easton) in the rain. some douch to my right wouldnt let me over to get off, i sped up, as did he, i slowed down, the douch behind him jumped on his ass.
So i sped up some more and got in front of him...woot woot
i get pulled over again for exceding the speed limit by 15mph (70 in a 55)
I get another $108 for not paying attention to street signs.
ugh
im parking the Z and taking the del sol out untill the t-tops can come off

damn dude sorry to hear that. ive had an unreal amount of bad luck with the law since even before i got my license. from when i was riding bmx and smoking weed, to riding 4 wheelers to when i got my 1st streetbike and everything in between wether due to speeding underage drinking wreckless, careless driving, bad inspection, no proof of reg... even mary j possession. thousands and thousands in fines lawyers and even paying for my own piss tests on conditional discharge. it sucks to think about, but now it seems i have no problems at all. havent been pulled over in a year or 2. ugh. i guess all im getting at with this rant is that it could be worse, and later on you will just think back and laugh (and maybe get pissed off lol)

edit-

even though everything seems like history now, im still paying for it via car insurance. they will rape you for atleast a couple years after the DMV has deleted all your points.
my best advice is to slow down, keep an eye out for cops posted up on the side of the road, and when you get point tickets, bring them to court to hopefully get the points dropped.

Just a word to the wise...that is if you get another badge. Make sure you say the guy who gave it to you and your relation to him. I have one as well and got pulled over. Cop grilled me about it, and i stated to him i'm a registered PBA member with a PBA badge in my wallet not to mention my uncle is the head of the chapter at Rahway. Cop politely apologized and said i shouldnt be driving through such a bad neighborhood so late at night (I live hamilton and was driving on east state st through Trenton on my way to PA...not to mention my license says trenton for my mailing address). As long as you can back it up you shouldnt of had trouble.
And he shouldnt of taken the badge...its not a "police" badge...its a union badge so the whole your impersonating a cop crap was BS

Haha, cops are idiots! I used to work for the FOP by getting donations for the organization....With EVERY DONATION we would send out a FOP badge sticker and if the donation was large enough you would get 2 badges and a lisence plate. What a joke......

and the greatest was some dick with mirror tint drove by me while i was being questioned honking his horn.... Im not gonna take the tine off, ive have 11 tint tickets with my old show car...http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k37/infroredcougar/Cougar/soclean.jpg

i actually quit my job in penndel because i got pulled over so often.
I mean, bottom line is, if you like something... you'll pay for it. I know my balls were busted this weekend so im taking that into consideration. If i get stopped again, i think i'll lighten the tint. I just hate paying to remove and add on again

you had the misfortune of calling those events misfortunes...

again, those weren't misfortunes, or bad luck with the law. YOU ****ed up, not the police, not your luck, you. You're not being disrespected because of what you've done... everyone has ****ed up.

Good for you for getting out of those bad habits (I hope you have), but you can't blame all that **** on bad luck, or the police.

HAHAHA, yeah its totally unfair to get stopped smoking weed while on a dirtbike or how wrong it is for a cop to stop you while driving drunk, there such assholes. You waited to cash in on your misfortune dude. You werent flammed, i just feel your not really on the same page.

If you want to compare me getting pulled over for tint, then being yelled at for having an FOP badge vs riding a BMX smoking weed, or wreckless driving, you will clearly see i wasnt looking for my misfortune.

And finally, dont post something that happened to you just for someone to interpret it differently so you can shove sand in your vag and have a b**ch fit.

We all love cars, and thats a great common hobby, i love coming here to discuss everything cars, im sure if i met you on the street we could talk about cars for hours. And if we had the conversation in person, we'd probably be laughing, you cant hear the tone of my voice while typing... so just take it easy dude, were not bad people.

My cousin is a cop. I asked him before about getting FOP plates. He said it depends on the region, but in queens NY(were he works) the minimum donation for a FOP badge to be rivited in your plate (a legit one) is somewere in the thousands

Usually the FOP or PBA badge on plates are usually cops or other high ranking state officials. You can get a badge for your car (the one that attaches with suction cups) a lil wallet badge, stickers and FOP or PBA cards with a membership. Thus what i have...for 200 beans and renewal is like 35 bucks a year (thats at least what i pay). But again it depends on state and such. Also who pulls you over as well. I know FOP and PBA are 2 unions that dont get along.

theres a few different FOP badges out there. the one i have you are only supposed to have if YOU or an IMMEDIATE family family member is a cop. i have been told before that im not suposed to have it, but ill be a cop soon enough anyway so im keeping it. im assuming he had the same one.

well i dont come in here calling you a moron for having illegal tint...

i didnt get much sleep last night, came in to work grumpy and saw those posts and kinda went overboard haha sorry

but yea, just because ive gotten tickets for things, doesnt mean i deserved to get them. most people mess with weed when theyre little, but not all of them manage to get arrested for it. a lot of kids do some dirtbike and quad riding, but not all manage to get ticketed for it. im sure all of us play around on the back roads once in a while, but not everyone gets wreckless and careless driving tickets from pissed off cops. luck is certainly a big part of it.

a good example of good luck versus bad luck is... my friend rode his ninja to school. on the way out of school he did a burnout and got pulled over. he had NOTHING on him in the way of identification. no lisence, no insurance, no reg, nothing. i guess the cop was feeling mellow at the moment so he told my friend to just go home, and no more messin around.
a week later im following my friend in his rx7. im on my gsx750f. i downshift and come up next to my friend, next thing you know, im being pulled over. cop says 'i was doin wheelies and stuff!' jesus christ. anyway i had a permit and it was sunset. i got 4 tickets! when they told me they were towing my bike because im not allowed to ride home (under 2 miles away) it pushed me past the limit and i threw the bike over and got the 5th ticket for disorderly conduct.

dude i live in horsham over by the new wawa and let me tell you 6 tickets and some how only having 5 points right now being an 18 year old kid sucks. I've been pulled over for everything including evading the police cause i didn't pul over fast enough for the officer. my buddy just got pulled over the other day in abington (little bit further than willow grove) for having his tint too dark. lifes a bitch but **** it its not gonna stop me when i get a new car to replace my totaled prelude.

if he took that badge, its theft. i was just talking about it to a cop yesterday in school. he is my teacher and he said if a cop takes that its theft. there is 2 versions of the badge. one is football, which is an association with police. the other is baseball, which is you are either a cop or your family member is one.

i hate tint tickets and assorted garbage like that. pure profit for the state. i got 2 tickets in 3 days in january, one for 85/45 on rt 322 and another for not using a turn signal. wow, 2am and doing . big deal. cant wait to battle it out in the war room.
