I was wondering how many people live in the city. Well, I know it's a lot of people that live on the outskirts but in the city, it seems people are hiding. soon it will be spring and I would love to know som locals. don't be shy.

I grew up in Port Richmond, lived there until a couple years out of college; my mom and brother/family still live there. Then going to Villanova U. I got to like the area out that way, so I bought a house near Narberth ...seems like an ideal little neighborhood, and very close to the city; my front door to my mom's in less than 20 min. I go back to Port Richmond at least once a week to visit family and friends.

The reason I started this is to get to know more tunners in my area instead of going to jersey or some place far. we need to represent Philly!!! When my car gets done this spring I'm going all out. I'm going to find some hardcore serious tunners and start entering my car in shows and try to make some of my money back!!! lol. I'm at jdm will's shop like every sat. i really never understood how people with nice cars park on like A or B those spaces r so tight u can barely go in between the cars.

the enkeis were 17x9.5 iirrc... i think the new set up is 18x9, he has had a camber kit since the rpf1's, but now that is sitting on the stockers you can really see the camber, the new wheels should tuck nicely.

Well philly is a city, and the chances of actually running into the minority of people from this board or even modded cars out in the streets is going to be rare. that's why we have meets.

but today, i saw a modded 04-05 wrx, black that was next to a modded, i think, srt-4 on columbus in front of the pep-boys, i was heading north, they were going south.

i also passed a black, stock, 07 sti at girard and frankford (that street with the rails that goes over top of it.)

never blew anything at atco since ive never been. only ran it once at e-town where i sucked my way to like a 13.4. yea i went to drexel, that was me on the enkeis. 17x9.5 +35 with a 20mm spacer in the front. loved those wheels but wanted a new look. advan rs 18x9 +29 are sitting next to me as i type this. cant

im in manayunk right by my old place with deb38. advans are going on as soon as mother nature decides to quit dicking around and make up her mind.

I was blasting up and down East & West River Dr. Sunday afternoon/early evening just to shake the cobwebs off my car; in one of the parking lots on West River Dr. between the Falls Bridge and the Montgomery Dr. cutoff I saw a whole bunch of what looked like mostly Hondas, some body kit parts, nice wheels, exhaust. By the time I turned around, I saw them driving the opposite way I was going, they were heading toward the Falls Bridge in East Falls. I wonder if it was any Philly guys from this forum?

Nope, mine is all black ...pic below. I've heard of the blue one in Manayunk; my buddy in King of Prussia also has a blue one, color aka RSP, but he's not driving his yet until weather clears. Mine's a beater I drive every chance I get :wink:

One of my goals this Spring is to mount a video camera in my car and have the east/west drives "staked out" late some night/middle of the night by reliable buddies to make sure no other cars around, then take them at the highest speed I dare drive just to have it on video ...just for the hell of it. Of course this will not be done on public roads, just on a closed track.

if you mean me ...quite small compared to most in the Supra world, it's a 60-1 turbo, so I guess that's a 60mm, it's tweaked by Powerhouse Racing so they call it the PHR Stg 1. I really like it, since it's smallish it's very responsive so it works very well at roadcourse track days ...at roadcourse "track" boost on pump it's a little under 500whp, on high boost/racegas it will still put out over 600 to the wheels, so I'm happy with that.

The West Drive is particularly nice and more open and there are a few good parking lots. I would think this area is not inconvenient to most Philly people.

Yea, that's my usual cruising route. Up the river, then get on 76 for a nice throttle opener and then down on the other side of the river. Ends at the museum area and then i just head into the city

OH, I love that area. I would push it to the limit in those nice curves. great spot without hesitation. once my car is done i will have my fun. it's a great cruising spot or meet.
