hmm when and where are u thinking. i could roll through with my ghetto truck, or maybe i can button up my s12 in time (just did the timing belt, needs some things put back on still)
either way, the weather looks to be turning for the worst... all of a sudden dark clouds covered the sun and now its windy and possibly getting chilly?

i recently bought the car with no maintnance records so who knows when the timing belt was last done. so i changed it out. also the temp wasnt rising too much on the gauge so i figured the thermostat was bad so i got a new one. i got the timing belt in, covers on, crank pully on. timing cover andcrank pully got a little rust repair and paint. now just have to put in the thermostat, rad hoses, fill up coolant, put on alternator and power steering belts... thats about it.
then when i can i want to put in this headunit i got from dan, do an oil change, find and fix bad electrical connections (making the car randomly run like crap) put in new spark plug wires... lots of stuff to do... oooh and i bought this maf cleaner i wanna try on it ahhaha

yeah chances are with the occasional random bad running, my car has the same problem, im guessing it probably just needs a new distributor cap and rotor, im gonna throw new plugs and wires in while im at it.

im guessing its due to bad electrical connections. places of interest would be the connections for the throttle position sensor, air regulator valve, maf.... all of these wires and connectors are very old, and i think if you undo them and look inside youll agree  probly all corroded and ugly. then everytime they get shifted and moved around in the car while driving, theres a different level of connection and the cars bahavior changes. hence the randomness of the whole thing...
but idk. theres a lot of possibilities. all i know is that the plugs cap and rotor have all been changed out. so that leaves me with spark plug wires, maf, tps, and all wiring connections.
but back to the exton meet. how is friday lookin to everyone
