Last year roughly in march

from this:
http://www.makingapril.com/greg/Eric/rollin.jpg

to this:
http://www.makingapril.com/greg/Eric/stolen.JPG

Stripped right in front of my house. Luckily the didnt get away with much.

A few months ago:
http://www.makingapril.com/greg/Eric/kermit.JPG

stolen from the gym. It was my daily driver....100k miles sr20 premium. Had suspension and wheels all ready to go on. Taken right before i got to hook it up. still hasnt been found.

Today:
http://www.makingapril.com/greg/Eric/mecar.jpg

Ganked right outside of my house this morning 2/18 @ 5am

Heres the best part.

The car didnt have a steering wheel, or an ECU and it was having map sensor issues which means the car didnt stay running and when it did it had very little throttle response. It would just constantly die out. So not only did they steal my car. They fixed it first. Sadly these theives impress me.

I should probably put this in the fail thread.....

Are you kidding me? I can't believe this is happening to you again.

Edit: Do you remeber if anybody was following you? Do you think they towed it or drove it away? :( **** man...

StreetEG

oh they definately drove it away. my roomate heard it happen. Looked out the window while i was at work and watched it get peaced out. The car hasnt been on the road in over 2 months since I got my daily driver....so it was just sitting.. and not working.

jeeesus f*cking christ! What kind of a neighborhood do you live in? Sound like it'd be cheaper to up and move!

good luck in finding it...sounds like it's probably the same crew doing this time and time again.

I hope you're investing in a Viper 5900 or something after this...maybe a shotgun.

Maybe you should build cars for BaitCar.com, or atleast put some security on these things! Your insurance must hate you real bad.

Man that really sucks I can't believe that happened again. You need to take a week off work and just do nothing but watch your car from up in a tree with a rifle next to you. Or hire me to do so.

agoodall
02-18-2008, 03:25 PM
you need to buy a car boot and install a hidden fuel cut off, and then i think you might be alright

turbo4g63
02-18-2008, 03:27 PM
you should think about relocating, getting lojack, putting a car in storage if its sitting for too long (especially if its a honda) or something. Make sure you hide that datsun someplace safe.

02-18-2008, 04:06 PM

And this sucks so much...I was just talking to someone last night who was interested in your car.
Im sure your sick of hearing it but I would say its time to move.

Good luck finding whoever it was that stole your car and I hope to god you cut their nuts off if you do get ahold of them..

So sorry bro...

02-18-2008, 04:55 PM
That sucks so much, it is never a good idea to park your car for a long time in a bad neighborhood(not calling you ghetto or anything) Im really glad nobodys tried to mess with mine, been sitting for like 5 months. I do however, keep it covered under street light locked with missing parts that nobody thinks to bring. I guess i will step up my security and buy a boot now.

EvlEgl
02-18-2008, 04:59 PM
Maybe you should buy something other than a Honda...Try a YUGO!!!

Thats ****ty.

Stillen GLE
02-18-2008, 05:24 PM
Honda's arent that hard to steal. that sucks man hope you find it in one piece why didnt you friend go try and do something of watching people jump in it and steal it.

red24O
02-18-2008, 05:41 PM
If the car had not been running for two months those car jacking assholes could have been fixing it for two months without you knowing, im sure you already thought about that tho. Well hopefully the whole car gets recovered.

malloyboy1

assault187
02-18-2008, 07:04 PM
Why dont you guys start investing in some decent car alarms, and cut-off's? You should probably pick up a security camera as well, They are pretty cheap and most deff cheaper then a car. I think your about to be investigated by your insurance company....

Its most likely the same people that know your cars are not protected and they will most likely hit you again....

cburwell
02-18-2008, 07:23 PM
It has to be someone that has it out for you! Sentras are not high up on the cars to steal list.

Did your room mate really hear them get in the car and then looked out to see them driving away (I assume that's what you mean by peaced out)? That sucks that he never even hopped in his car to go after them.

if these thieves steal parts out front of ur house and fix the car too, that will not stop them from finding a kill switch or taking the boot off your car, get one of them alarms that pages your key fob when someone touches your car, only solution i know of

Eric this is some bull****! Stuff like this makes me glad i got rid of my hatch when i did, although it was partially cause by a failed attempt to steal it from right outside my house. Seriously if it really needed that type of work they only got a block or two away before putting it in a truck or something. Theres no way there place is right around the corner. Have you moved since they broke into the hatch? If not you need to. Also i wouldn't doubt STILL your roomate or a friend of theirs is a person to suspect in this ****. Hopefully this one shows up somewhere, although it probably wont, and good luck on finding out who these dickheads are!

this is not a solution. I know of people who have been paged letting them know the car was successfully unlocked(meaning not broken into) while they were miles away from home, by the time you get the cops on the phone the car is in an alley covered in oil.

Wow that is the worst luck I have ever heard of. I don't think the razorblades under the door handles will work but maybe you should rig this up as a anti-theft device. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDRme0HeXq4&NR=1

so you live in newark? wow, my old civic, after i traded it in, had the rims and springs and left on 2x4's stolen off of it while at the dealership.

StreetEG
02-19-2008, 08:58 AM
Ya I would believe it. It is so bad down here...in po-dunk delaware. its because the cops are absolutly terrible and handling anything other then a drunk college student.

My roomate called the cops as the car was driving away from our house... they said they would get someone right away and hung up. When they called me back I asked if they found the car. The officer had no idea what i was talking about and was just trying to get the report. I screamed at him cause I told the guy the car JUST WAS LEAVING.... and heres the kicker...I live about ummmmm 2 minutes from the newark police station.

This seems to much to just be coincidence. I can't believe you had two cars stolen or parts stolen off of and you are still in the same area and haven't taken any precautions.

Sorry to hear that it happened.

Sorry to hear that it happened.

The car didnt have a steering wheel, ECU and didnt run correctly due to a map sensor issue. I couldnt keep it started for more then 20 seconds. oh the negative terminal was disconnected. Hidden hood latch, and less then a 1/4 tank of gas. The car was a hold-over car from my last car being stolen and was awaiting getting fixed so that I can sell it because i have a new daily driver. (bank accounts locked....long story from previous car theft) Anyway for the 2 months I had it I thought I would have better luck.... guess I was wrong....

But I have decided I dont want a car where it turns into my fault for it being stolen. Call me crazy...

i actually live outside of newark, and have heard about all the cars getting stolen down there.
There's actually a few names i can give you, that if you want to see how they pan out with the newark cops. There's one kid who is notoriously known for stealing honda's, and he lives right over the line in elkton. so it wouldn't suprise me if he took it. Also you have to think, school just started back up, so maybe it's one of the ****ing ricers that drives around on the weekends and parks at the car wash. I hang out with/know alot of the car crowds, down there. Hence the only reason i'm sure my car hasn't gotten stolen. either way, i'll keep my eye and an ear out for you.

I didn't mean to insinuate that it was your fault. Having your property stolen is never your fault unless you leave the doors open and the keys in it. Sorry again for your loss and I hope you recover it or the authorities find who did it.

No alarm on the car... like i said i owned it for maybe 3 months and for 2 it didnt run. Honestly though the way it panned out it doesnt look like an alarm would have done much in the situation....
