how to sell my car

im trying to sell my car, but i dont have the title, because its not paid off.

how do i go about sellin and getting the title?

you dont get the title. the bank has a lien on the title. the new owner takes over the lien. its pretty much the same as if you had the title yourself, the bank just keeps the title till the car is paid off, by whomever.

how do i set that up? do i contact the bank? i financed thru VW credit

im pretty sure the dmv takes care of it, but it wouldnt hurt to call and ask them what the procedure is since its not your personal bank.
