since I stumbled across this thread, I figure ill clear a few things up for you people, since theres a lot of ignorance.
I do have 140k in the car, I am not lying, I have no need to lie. the 140k includes the 32k cost of the vehicle first off. Second of all no where does it say 140k IN THE ENGINE BAY, which for some reason some of you are interpreting as such. Including the cost of some complications in the engine build process, and the cost of all the custom work under the hood, and in the fuel system etc. there is about 55k in motor work. roughly 15 of that is because I purchased a bad motor from a third party and it had to be pulled twice and regrettably trashed. It was not just about putting down 500whp, every part of the engine bay is custom cut, bent and polished. NOS injection, with purge vents, electronic exhaust dump tubes, etc etc. Not to mention a fully custom built motor. These things cost money.
The interior is custom Red and black suede, the headliner, rear deck, A,B, and C pillars are all suede. Custom Gauge pods...in suede. Custom radar and laser jammer hidden in the headliner. The electronics, including nav, tv tuner, XM, Sirius, the system in the trunk. The list goes on and on. Thats another 25-30k.
We are already at 114k, with out body work (roughly 15k including the kit and installation), wheels, suspension, CF wing, trunk, hood, Wheels, CF Drive shaft, Custom projector retrofitted headlights, and every other little thing.
The car was built as a show car, it is one of the best looking STIs around. Yea you can have a 911, if you want one, they are amazing cars, luckily my life permits me to have both. So you people should broaden your view and not jump to conclusions so quickly about calling someone a lier. I typically just see it at hater speech, so its easy to ignore. Remember different people play in different vineyards.
Oh and btw, the "&*%$" on the car is vinyl from a cross country rally...hence the number and sponsors.
Now that you are informed, please, flame on!!

That car is impressive. Very impressive actually. I like STi's at this caliber because when there's a point at where it gets serious and that just intrigues me.

Yeah because saying that was totally necessary. I had respect until this point.
Don't know if it was where you put it in your reply, or maybe I'm just in a bad mood but...cmon dude.

A couple of things, on the outside it doesnt look much nicer than carbonIS's, the interior sounds pretty badass minus the huge system in the trunk(not really my thing) But c'mon people, detector and jammer in headliner, thats cool. Also, i wont lie, I dont even invest in carbon driveshafts while playing GT4, but its your car. Either way, its sad to say that you will not get more than 50k for the car, modding cars is money lost, you would be better to part the car out as far as possible(meaning as far as your stock parts pile allows you) and try to get some of your money back that way.

You have to look at it as a whole package, its not that its the BEST looking sti on the exterior, or interior, or engine, or james bond type toys. Overall, its very well rounded and beautiful, especially when you see her shined up in person. I may decide to keep her, just because selling her will not recoup the money spent, and its more worth it just to keep it. I will never part her out, she goes as one or not at all haha.

I apologize if I offended you, though my only point of saying that is to make it clear that I when I started this project that somehow I thought I would have a Lamborghini type of vehicle, because that is not what I thought, I knew it was a subaru. I did it because I wanted to, I wanted a car that was gorgeous for what it was. I got exactly that, a gorgeous STI, not a Porsche or anything. Though the down side about owning one of those, is that theres no uniqueness to it, just great craftsmanship and performance.

mmmmmmkay......lemme first say.. sick car. looks good..obviously your spent money in all the right places...now for my "flame"?
custom built motor to handle a 1000hp.... give me a dyno sheet... and then proof you can daily drive it like this it doesnt have a problem.
if you have enough money to have both a built sti "show" car and your 911, you 911 must be somthing special.
and how much of the work did you do yourself?
lol i dont actually have a 911, im saying I could afford one as a point in saying that its not like I spent my life savings on this car and some how thought I was going to get my money out of it. Heres the dyno sheet, and it does idle perfect and drives amazing, AutoMaster of westchester NY is amazing, they have a great highend operation there.
oh and instead of the 911, since the STI is the speed demon, I needed something more...classy...

this is a FS thread, it is not off topic... what that means for those who have forgotten is that nobody cares about your opinion of the car.
if you have genuine interest in buying, post or contact the seller, otherwise you have no reason to post here so move along.
