First tip...if you are going to post in the "Gallery", at least post a pic too.
Seriously though, You need to put that car on a diet. THey are heavy SOB's(had an '87 AeroCoupe). Second thing you need is do an intake and cam swap. Unfortunately the small valves on the 305 heads are another limiting factor.
Don't forget to service the rear end. Mine exploded the springs out of the LSD, and that was the last time I ever worked on it. It got impounded so I gave it to a buddy of mine.
You could look into a Grand National 3.8 swap too!! :supz:

A buddy of mine swapped a 96 LS1 Motor into his 84 Monte. Ran 12's all motor and 11's on crack.

The best upgrades are always the cheapest upgrades, Home Depot baby, get sum PVC for and intake and cheap aluminum piping for exhaust, nah im just messing with ya, you only do that kind of thing to a cheap import like a civic or integra. But www.rksport.com has some nice upgardes for the f-body including the SS

that's impossible since ls1's didn't come out till 97- and that was only in the vette in 97. 98-02 ls1's were in vette/camaro/transam.
what ****ing year ss? you need to include details bro.

My biggest suggestion to make any G-Body faster, is weight reductions and another motor. The 305 makes a great boat anchor, and nothing more. You should easily be able to find a 350, or 400sbc used at a great price, and the rest of the drivetrain just bolts right up.
One thing I never got around to was uping the power on my old T/A that had a 305, that I swaped out for a 350. If I could do it again I would do a 400sbc, comp cams extreme energy camshaft, 1.6rr's, ported vortech heads, edlebrock vortech intake, holley 650, nice set of long tubes, and a massaged 700R4 with a 4.10 rear and call it a day.
