I'm looking to move out on my own (or with a roomate) in the next six-eight months.
I'm looking for a decent place. I don't want to live in the slums of shaolin. There are a couple of places local to me, 2 bedrooms, 1 bath for around $1200. I'd say thats my price range.
Anybody do some freelance real-estate?
Also a roomate would be fun to find :P

Around me, $800 would get to a box on the corner.....
But, since im leaving the city, places to live in that are nice, are in the same price range.

1200 split two ways isnt that bad. hell... if you can find a two bedroom and want to split the room with someone.... thats 300 a month for two people in one room!
i could easily find a shack in new brunswick, but id rather live somewhere nice... where i dont feel like i live next door to slobs.

most places available now, won't be available then. But check out the local craigslist listings. I've found the best deals on apartments through there.

The cheapest and most decent place in Marlton area where I live is 1,055 a month and that includes everything EXCEPT Electric and cable. All the rest are at least 1,100 with NO utilities. This is for a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment.

Yeah, most places will laugh at you looking that far in advance. I started looking around in december for places to move into this april or may, and only just now are people starting to take an april lease seriously.
