AS the title says I am looking to buy a 1996-1999 Nissan Maxima SE with no more than 80,000 miles on it. I want to spend around $7,000 so show me what you guys have.

Why not a 99 model? The body doesn't change until 2000.

interested in a silver 5spd 2000 SE? 113k but runs awesome and $6000
has 2003 17" wheels and a few new parts

so you want a 4th gen maxima? i would rather go with the 5th gen the eariler ones with the VQ30DEK rather then just the VQ30. i have a 5.5 gen its got the VQ35 in mine its very fast just wish it was a 6 speed. iam looking for a 6 speed. but well see.
