what they were thinking is that the SRT lineup is incredibly popular, and there is now an SRT version of almost every car..

just because this is the next srt-4 doesnt mean that it will be the *only* SRT-4. there was word that they will be showing a 4cyl. roadster next month.. so that too could be an SRT-4, and I'd imagine they'll have this in at least a sedan form at some point, so theres another possibility.

yep, its a shame they never did the razor.. 2 seat RWD roadster with the same drivetrain as the srt-4 :(

but who knows maybe this 'new' roadster will pan out.. we'll see next month

Who would buy that for the speed? I'd rather my SRT-4 look like a neon on steroids than a freaking SUV or Pontiac Vibe with a hoodscoop. Hopefully this isn't going to be DCX's only performance platform.

Technically, if there is no other 4cyl performance in the mopar section with the SRT tag, it is indeed a replacement. There's like 4 SRT-8's and 2 SRT-10's. 1 SRT-6 (AFAIK) and the SRT-4.

They axed the neon, and are replacing it with the ass. Err, Mopar Vibe.
