Ah I love fc's but Owning a rotary is like dating a porn star. It's strange, it's fun when it works, sucks when it doesn't but through it all you know the others secretly are jealous and wonder how it works. ;)

The mods in my garage is fairly current.

If you are planning on upgrading the turbo the easiest (cheapest) route to go would be to go with a BNR hybrid of some sort. I was making 297 on a stage 1 on 10psi and I've seen dyno's for 330+ on the Stage 2 and higher with higher boost pressures. I would go with atleast the stage 2 and up. You will need a new intake pipe for anything more than the stage 1.

If you go the full T4 route you will need atleast a manifold, turbo, new oil lines, custom intercooler pipeing, custom exhaust, intake/filter. There is some other stuff, but you can see what is the easier route. It depends on what you want to do.

Just please do some research before you do anything to the 7 and take your time. Don't rush into anything.

You have to think what you want to do with your fuel and computer also. Fuel and timing is very important when upgrading the turbo.

95nracer, thank you for the info, if i do upgrade it wont be more then a stage 1, at 290bhp i will be happy.
right now i got a dyno sheet making 215bhp with full exhaust from Hartbeat, intake,Fcom HKS fuel Mngm comp. thats pretty much it.
290hp will be just fine with me.
so what would i need to replace exacly? Injectors,intercooler,B.O.V,turbo Controler, will stock headers work?
im very new to the Rotary scene. any info will be great.

thank you every one

Ohhhh....THOSE kinds of projectors! I thought you were talking about removing the flip up headlight assembly altogether. I hate that. In the case you just described, that is fine. That'll look awesome. I have seen that on an FC and it is fantastic. The FC has really bright anyway.

02-20-2008, 10:33 PM
