They are so horrible that they received the best rating from PC Buyers two years in a row. They suck so bad that most Universities are equipped with them and a vast amount of film/production schools will swear by them. So horrible!

P.S. I have a Dell laptop, it is pretty spiffy and was cheap. I like widescreen and all, but my internal wireless (OooOOo Centrino!) crapped out on me within 4 months though. They won't let me send it back even though I have a two year all parts and labor warranty :(

Well that is what Mac's are known for...but there is a lot more, such as reliability. I also think it's pretty neat that Apple is coming out with something that will dual boot to both the Mac OSX and Windows. Where is Bill Gates on that one? Money hungry bastard with unstable IE that gets hacked all the time and admits to it! ::shakes fist::

damn, all i say is thankyou & i start a mac - pc war!

i like the laptop alot, ivan hooked me up with one of the last models from dell with a built in serial port so i can tune. it has 1 gig of RAM, a 40 MB hard drive, A/B/G wireless access, Bluetooth, and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember. i dont do any gaming so its just an email & web surfing machine for me, as well as the ocasional engine tune.

I still like my Dell Inspiron XPS laptop...I even have a cool backpack to carry it in. :banana:

Now if Ivan would ever figure out if he can replace the little plastic piece that holds the lid shut that completely fell off on it's own...

Coming from someone who actually know a little somehting about macs I want you all to know they are soon to be obsolete. The only reason people buy them is becasue they claim to be superior in performance per clock cycle which has been a falsity since the opteron debuted. The move from powerpc to x86 is guaranteed to be the death of them as no one buys macs for their operating system and ipods wont own 80 percent of the market forever. Take my word kiddies sell the aapl and buy amd. If you were one of the lucky few who who listened when it was 3.50 a share fooey on you casue I didnt take my own advice HA.
