View Full Version : How much power are you putting down?

Just wondering how much horsepower/torque the forum is putting down? Maybe this is an old thread, but I can't seem to find it. To equalize everything, we should do it on pump gas- 93 or whichever you use. Also, write down what kind of dyno was used.

1997 Toyota Supra TT 6 spd
100% stock, no mods
302 rwhp, 300 ft lb

My GTO was putting down 376whp, 367wtq on a Dynojet with 93 octane. It had a mild cam, stock Z06 heads, cat delete pipes and a hell of a good tune.

I'm trying to get the Audi in for a dyno now to get a baseline.

my old, SOHC Turbo Civic, stock block, non-vtec head, z6 intake manifold, T3 .42/.48, 2.5 inch exhaust.

How much were the Z06 heads?

I got them from Patriot for $600 built with new LS2 valves, Patriot gold dual springs and titanium locks and retainers.

Did I say it was? No I was stating bench racing is gay. Meaning people taking guess on what they make or what they're going to make with x mods.

Never been on the dyno but..

I'm guessing I'll make 420whp....... :mrgreen: Defiantly over 500 once my NOS and K&N filter are installed.

A lot of people are getting great numbers on pump gas! I know what people are saying about guys who don't know anything about power... for example:
fart cannon + Stickers + intake = +30 hp.

We are keeping it clean :)

I'm impressed with that SRT 4 putting out 385 on pump! I'm not familiar with them, but I've heard mods go by stages? What stage are you?

technically,... stage 4, because its bigger then what dodge offers, only up to stage 3, so we just say anything bigger/better is stage 4 - it is pushing 400+whp now because my mbc backed out and im too lazy to pop the hood to fix it =P hitting 26-29lbs with a mid/high a/f...

it has t3/4 .50 trim with all the supporting nonsense =P

Thats crazy, I was going to put that turbo on my B16 swap, and it was considered a normal/average size :P

but that was also on 10 pounds less than what you're probably running.

Really impressive numbers, and I'm impressed as it can hold that much boost :thumbup:

179fwhp and 210tq compeltely stock....we'll see what I put down after all the stuff is back on the car (if I manage to remember where all those gears fit in the place that fell out of the tranny )

Bench racing ftl but didn't turbotagteam at one time have that sick rx7 in his avvy? Also, ive never been on a dyno but i can promise its under 130whp and 100wtq. lol.

Last time I was at the dyno with the Civic it put down something like 250whp 200wtq @ 12psi. I had boost leaks out the ass, my tuning program was giving me a ton of ****, deep 9:1 or lower AFRs after 6K... Last year wasn't a good year for that car at all. This year hope to put in some race gas and shoot for over 400.

Quite frankly, I don't "put down" **** until 3rd gear lol.

Camaro puts down whatever a stock LS1 M6 puts down. Probably something around 300whp add or take I'm not really sure.

Never been dyno'd only have intake silencer out with K&N filter drop in, prob around 260-265 whp/ 255-260g rwtq

Last time i was on the dyno with the lancer it was 175whp/200wtq 6psi. Since then i have replaced the head gasket, head studs, and turbo. Next time on the dyno it will be with the new turbo, new intercooler piping, new bov, and aem ems. Shooting for like 225whp/7psi.

181whp stock so with intake and exhaust i'm guessing 187whp.

hopefully this time next year with i/h/e, kpro, intake mani, and maybe a cam i'll be around 215whp. Honda's FTL

Fuel Pressure Regulator mod from PT performance

I have a thermostat sitting in a box that I need to put in... I've had it for about a year and a half... Supposed to lower temps from 200 to 180.

All in all I spent about $300. I also dynoed stock at 215.9whp

462 on 6psi, 580rwhp on 11psi, looking for around 620rwhp on 15-16psi, but my blower and fuel system are about maxed out. this was all done a mustang dyno.

I was joking. My present car would struggle to make high 200's at the wheels. It makes 333 at the flywheel stock. Yes, I used to have a highly modified FD. It was stolen and I didn't buy it back...I got sick of putting engines in it....Now I drive a BMW with a warranty :mrgreen:

i put down 241whp/225wtq at verocious in 100* heat. It turned out that my old intercooler that i was running at the time had a crack in the endtank, so i'm sure w/ the cooler temps we have now and the non leaking bigger intercooler i'm making about 20 more whp than what i dyno'd at. if we have another dyno meet i'll throw my car on again and see what it does.

well I dont have any numbers on the new car, so I guess I'll put my numbers from the stang. 92 fox 5.0 5 speed, no name short ram, cat back with flowmasters.

192rwhp/262ft.lbs on R/T Tuning's dyno, whatever they use.

id guess 190 whp and 120 wtq, dyno'd in alaska, in january, with new spark plugs, and dumped oil into the spark plug holes....and 104 octane....

last year, when my car was stock, i put down 220 whp and 250 wtq...boosting at 10 psi...now im at 18psi sooo i dunnooo...:roll:

Last time I had it on the dyno was this summer, I was putting 288hp 303tq. Since then I added the 3" full exhaust and ignition system. I was peaking at 18psi and holding 16psi. Now I peak at 22psi and hold 19psi... So I have no clue.
