Bought this stuff off a guy who was going to turbo his 240 but was getting impatient with his friend so he sold it to me lol. $270 for the manifold, the turbo, the BOV, a high pressure oil line, all new gaskets, and some nuts and bolts. Hmmm.....ka-t? Turbo was just rebuilt to. absolutely zero shaft play

Seems like a good price for all of that stuff. What turbo is that?

honestly not sure. IIRC (i dont feel like draggin it out lol) all it says is a/r .48 . But like the cover says its a garrett. Its pretty small, it was on a honda, hence the ghetto slab of metal welded on. Apparently they welded that on so it bolted to a stock honda manifold. I already have an intercooler. Now its a matter of getting an oil pan w/ a bung welded in, all the electronics..and....idk what else lol. I'm not too concerned with exhaust for the time being, I'll run the 2.5" thats on the car. the fuel I'm also not to to worried about cuz I wont be shooting for big numbers. When the time comes, it will all be upgraded but this is just gonna get me off the ground, as this will be my first turbo car. Im honestly a major noob about turbo'ing a car, so I'm sure I'm gonna be on here asking a lot of dumb questions.

Looks to be a T3 .42/.48 A/R turbo...whats this going on? I mean that turbo might be a little small you could maybe squeze about 200-220 out of it, I had one on my D16a in my CRX (1.6L SOHC) and it was decent but your gonna be dealing with a bigger motor...might be cool, have some fast spool...

If you go on garret's site they will identify the turbo and it's origin for ya. I have two .82 / .64 from a supra, that was orginally made for a tractor. LOL

Oh BTW good deal and good luck.

yea, like I said it was off a honda. I'm not looking to make huge numbers like I said, I just want to pep it up. Its goin on a 140k ka24de lol. Although, if someone has a turbo that will bolt to my manifold and wants a turbo for a honda, I'd like to trade.

Well it looks like the mani is flanged for both t3 and t4 hotsides. If you ever decide to go big you dont have to swap mani's...

If I was you, id find a larger turbo. Once you get boost, you get hooked, and youll want more. That turbo will max out quick. Hell I wouldent even consider something that small for my 1.6l miata.

If you still use that turbo, atleast youll get very quick spool.

I'm only gonna be running like 10psi at the most so I'm not too worried.

Looks like an ssac manifold. Be careful, the topmounts are known for cracking. I'd get a flexpipe for sure.
