Looking for roommate or room!

Hey gang,

I just moved out here in October and thought I could spend more money on a nicer place. However, the Government and private lenders for my school loans gave me a kick to the nuts today. Turns out I didnt borrow enough to consolidate over a longer payment period, AKA: lower monthly payment.

So as it turns out, I am on the market for new residence. The way I see it, I have two choices. First one is going on craigslist and seeing who already has a place and needs a roommate. Thats what I did to find my current residence. The other is seeing if anyone wants to get an apartment with me. Or even a couple people.

Single bedroom apartments and studios seem to go for around $900 after all your utilities are paid. Thats what I am paying now, so I would much rather share a home. The more you share, the less you pay a month.

Anyone else looking to get a place or know of anyone looking for a current roommate? I am looking to stay under $700 a month with utilities. Not the hardest thing to do in the world.

Or, anyone have any good places to look. The cheaper rent has been some real dumps. I may not be able to avoid it, but since I am not originally from the area, I may be missing some good places to look.

You might want to try millview apartments in coatesville, pa 19320 i used to live there when i went to school there very spacious and not that pricy either.

Ambler isn't that far. It's only about 15 minutes from here....maybe about 8 miles.

$500/mo including utilities will definitely keep you from being on your own. A roommate is your best bet.

Ambler is Only 15 minuts from Colmar? Mapquest and Yahoo Maps are saying its over 20 minutes...and thats not with our crazy traffic

Of course it depends on where in Ambler(not that it's very big),.....but the drive shouldn't be more than 20 minutes or so.
