yea satellite radio is cool. i got sirius and its got some really cool channels. only problem i had was with the sportster one i have. the damn stand has sticky tape that doesnt like to stick to my dash. well some industrial strength velcro had something to say about that. little bastard isnt moving now. all in all i would say sirius is a must buy.

I have XM and love it, not for music though. I listen for mostly talk radio like Opie and Anthony. The music channels are alright but it seems like they play alot of the same stuff over and over again. I do hear that Sirus has better music. I have the same problem with the stickey tape too, keeps falling off. My head unit is XM ready, I just need to get the module so I can tune with my head unit.

If you don't mind me asking; how much was it in total for everything w/sirius?? And what are your monthly payments??

well to get the basic setup for a any headunit. you can get the sportster unit with everything you need for like 100 bucks. then the service is 12.95 a month but you can get better deals if you buy a yr pack or 2yr. they even have a deal right now for unlimited lifetime sirius for 500. i want to do that but i dont have the money right now but im sure i will soon.

I've had xm in my car for about two years now. Really like it. Friday nites, 80's freestyle...that's reason enough to get it. Between my head unit, tuner, install and first year membership it came to about 800. That's with the head unit though, really not that expensive if you just get the Delphi and tune in. You can sample the stations on the comp for like 24hrs.

I have the XM but I really only listen to 202 Opie and Anthony. Spread the virus.

Sirius is far superior to XM imo. Jim Breuer's show and the soon to be Stern show is worth the money right off the bat. Sirius is growing FAST. My prediction is that within 5-10yrs XM wont even exist anymore. But regardless of what provider you prefer, satellite radio is rad! :supz:
