Keep track of your ****, and follow up with people that can screw you over due simply to their stupidity.

A) My fault for not completing registration on my car in time and letting it slip my mind.. since August 07.

B) My fault for not following up with Harrisburg about the ticket I received and paid, only to get a notice of suspension a week later.

C) My fault for assuming they simply sent it out right before they received the check.

So I've been driving around with a suspended license for 6 months, and an unregistered vehicle for 4 :) The cop was very nice, told me to plead not guilty to both ticket and we'll work something out. He gave me his card after I told him my uncle was an officer as well, and he wants him to call him about the tickets.

My fault, plain and simple. Ticket was for inspection being up, had no money to pay, took it to court to extend when it was due, etc etc...

Luckily I can work from home, so this won't be huge while I wait for this mistake/mess to be cleared up. But its a hard lesson learned... I need to be more responsible with my ****.

I guess everyone has that turning point in their life where something clicks... and you realize you're not as grown up/mature/awesome as you think you are. You flash back months of your life and want to kick yourself in the ass for being a dip****. But you look on toward the future at what you will accomplish, knowing you've changed for the better.

So, mrchariybrown, once this **** is straight I'll be bringing a case of hoegardden. Until then... keep those hot asian ladies around

I got a ticket in DE one night driving from MD to Jersey to visit my gf in the middle of the night ;)
Forgot about the ticket, got my liscence suspended. Try to deal with PennDot from Iraq.
Happens to everybody man, I just pay everything as soon as I get home now.

There was a screw-up within PA DMV and my license somehow got suspended about 2 years ago.

I got pulled over and told the cop that there was honestly no reason that it should have been suspended. As with your situation, the cop was cool about it which leads me to believe that this happens very often with the DMV.

Anyway, after countless failed attempts at calling the DMV, I called my state representatives office (was Gene Mcgill). I explained to them my situation, and literally within 2 days they had it completely straightened out. So if you need help, give whoever your county rep for the state is. I got absolutely ZERO help from the DMV, and literally every person that I talked to, couldn't speak English. It's a nightmare dealing with them!

good to know thats a possibility, to call the state rep. I'm gonna be making a call on tuesday to the harrisburg dmv and see whats going on, if that falls through I'll call the state rep's office.
