I'm not familiar with that swap. A company called renegade hybrids used to make all the bits for a sbc conversion but I'm not sure if they still do(or are even still around for that matter.
Keep in mind that the aircooled type 4 engine found in the 914 can be built up to make some very respectable power albeit not cheaply. A cat named Jake Raby of aircooled technology is, by far, on the forefront of t4 engine design. These engines can be built up very large and are very reliable and cool running when done right, the only peak power restriction being an ineffecient head design. N/A, a 170- 200hp low revving torque monster would be cake. http://www.aircooledtechnology.com/Type4.html
Well, that's not what you asked of course, but being a bit of an aircooled purist it was only my duty to put it out there. Plus, I imagine a boxster engine to be rather pricey and heavier. Aircooled engines sound way better to boot :).
