I live in Pa now with a suspended registration on my non daily driver car. It was suspended because the insurance coverage lapsed more then a month. Now i wanna move it over to NJ registration since im gonna be moving over to my Girlfriends house in the next month or so. Im still looking for the plates because i got to send them in for the 3 month suspension to start. Now can i just register it in NJ and it be good right away or will the 3 month suspension on it interfere and ill still have to wait 3 months? Please help i need to know as soon as i can. If anyone else who reads this knows please PM me also just so i can get an idea until the officer gets back to me with the correct answer. THANKS JIM

You can register you car in NJ as long as you have vaild insurance. As for thr PA fine I do believe that would still stand and NJ may hold up you registration till your done in PA

yeah there is no fine associated with the registration suspension in Pa. just a 50 dollar re-register fee after the 3 months. i hope it dont carry over. thanks for your input. do you ever make it out to any meets? anyway thanks for helping.. JIM

You should be fine then since its a restriction put on you by PA and you would not have a car registered in PA for the aloted time.
As for the meets I havn't been to any off duty but I have been to the Hamilton Dunkin Donuts one alot
