Well, I haven't played much with others since my high school days now that everyone is away at college.

Anyways, I like to play guitar, bass, drums, and I try to rock a piano from time to time. I play some other things as well, but I mostly enjoy playing rock/punk/alt/indie, so I stick with those instruments mainly.

I’m from Malvern (KOP/Exton/Paoli area), so if anyone is interesting in having a jam or recording session and a couple beers maybe, PM me, state your case and your instrument of choice. I’m willing to travel locally too if that’s preferred. I have a decent recording setup in my basement if you’re interested in laying some tracks.

kinda off subject, but topic related. I have a set of TAMA rockstar drums i am trting to get rid of. 5 Piece set no cymbals or stands. Comes with bass drum,2 rack toms, and floor tom. Also snare drum and stand and high hat stand. New "black" Evans hydraulic heads. Also have a piccollo snare and a TAMA Iron Cobra double bass pedal. I'm really ****ing excited for the KD tribute cd, it seems like a great opportunity for a bunch of up and coming bands. Did you go to shook ones when they played at my friend sean's house? It was beginning of November. I doubt I'll be able to make the show with the ergs though, I'm stuck in college in Gettysburg unfortunately.

yeah dude, as far as i know, jake our bassist and myself are leaving the band and this is most likely going to be our last show with the band. we had half a tour booked with four year strong and i'm not sure if i'll be playing those dates yet or not, but we'll see. definitly try to come out on the 26th!

i'm hoping it'll have a decent turn out, kids around here seem to love the ergs which is awesome. i'm really stoked. the KD tribute is defintily going to be sick, we're doing pits & poison apples so that should be exciting and unfortunatly, i didn't get out to see the shook ones, i love that band though.

He sets up great shows and always pulls out a good amount of kids. Also Siren Records is a great venue, hopefully you guys will like it, i dunno if youve played/been there but its a record store and has a decent sized area for shows with a small stage. Should be a good show, my friends band (The Domino Theory) is trying to get on their 2nd or 3rd show there with Smoke Or Fire. Get their new ep for free on their purevolume site.

thanks for the kind words dude, siren records is an awesome venue...we've played there a lot over the last two years, last show we had there we played with the ataris which was pretty cool haha. and i love smoke or fire! that would be an awesome lineup.

I used to sing in a band when I lived in NY. It was a band that started as metal, but when people weren't picking up on it, we made it into a joke emo band. For some reason people started to enjoy it so we swayed to pop-punk and had a lot of fun. Even got to play with Yellowcard. BUT... since I'm down here in PA I've went to a couple practices for a few different bands, but nothing really clicked for me. Most of them wanted to do Sabbath and old Metallica. I've got no problem with the music, just really don't like singing it.

Wouldn't mind finding a punk-ish band around State College to sing with.

I do have a set, but the space is small. We could easily get everyone in, but there wouldn't be a ton of movement, and the room is enclosed so it would be LOUD. Weekends at my house can be a possibility, but I have to play it by ear since I do live with my parents, so I don't want to be obnoxious, but I don't see it being a big problem. And my set is crappy. I bought it used for $100 and then bought some Zildgian symbols. I'm looking into getting a better snare at least since it blows. But, the cool thing is we can do some half decent recordings if we end up writing anything cool. Which is a given...
