I had one of the first R32's round here, kept it about a year, got the itch...
I actually made money on it when I traded it-in for my 06 sti.
They do hold their value fairly well. Loved: brakes, sound, nice interior, seats in winter; hated: stock tires, seats in summer, lack of HID, weight.

I'd personally put on a short shifter, new dogbone engine mount, big rear sway, and flapper mod and you'd be plennty happy.

I was pleased with exhaust, GIAC 94 octane file (no more 94 at the pump though) and CAI.

My buddy got his R32 turbo'd by them

Ran like **** the whole time

He went back to EIP to get the turbo kit off of his car and put it back to stock (getting ready to sell)
They then sold his turbo kit off of his car "as new"

o dont worry i dont find it ignorant haha i didnt really know alot about vw's before i bought mine so im still learing also..but ill try to answer any questions that anyone has. a seat cupra r is actually a type of car overseas.. the lip was never made for the car but kinda fits with some altering haha

Nope, every VW/Audi has that lip. You can get it just about everywhere online for that price. You just didn't have to pay for shipping since you got it at WF.

so just to key everyone in...i just picked up another dub..getting it delivered on tuesday... its a 96 jetta trek. i picked it up for an awesome price and im going to daily drive it after its out of paint...i just love the color so much that im getting it resprayed the same color...its called memory red..super rare. ohh yea and im putting a full euro gti front end on it and euro fender flares before it goes into paint...it will look a little bit like this car with the texture top bumpers and all. but in memory red and different wheels.

ps...it doesnt have a 2.0 in it ;)
