Ok... so this is a project that a friend of mine JUST started, and I know there are some IT people here that might be interested. He just started this forum, so there is little/no activity on there yet, but he is looking to start getting a nice, centeralized forum for all things IT (Networking, Servers, Graphics, the whole bit)... So if you guys wanna check it out, please click the link.

Also, sorry if this violates any of TSTs policies. Dunna how you feel about it, since its not really about cars

good luck... this is not something most people wouldn't bother with trying to start because there are already so many IT forums and so many IT blog and so many IT white papers and so many IT how-to's out there already.
but good luck :)

yeah, it'll be tough for him. There is such a saturation of this stuff already out there. He needs to find something new to offer IT professionals and amateurs to get them using the site
Also, I think the problem with too many IT guys on one forum, is you are going to have arguements over what is a better way to solve a problem. Much like our beloved TST, except, smarter arguements haha.
No really though, cool idea, but I agree with Scape, I think it's going to be hard for him. But kudos to him for giving it a shot!
Edit - Haha, just looked at one of the few posts, and someone made a post saying "Vista was huge mistake, any person and their cousin will say XP rapes Vista hands down."
Funny because that is such an untrue and biased statement. I've said it sooooo many times. If people took the time to actually understand Vista, and have the right hardware requirements for it, it's better then XP. Period.

I agree to a point. A lot of the stuff ive wanted in Vista for troubleshooting stuff, was disabled by defualt.
But I do thank you guys for the input.
