2002 Rsx Tps

Does anyone know if the 2002 RSX (Base w/ Auto Tranny) TPS sensor can be changed out? I have a friend who has a check engine light because of a bad TPS and the mechanic is saying that the whole throttle body needs to be replaced. Is this true? I'm doing some research on my own, but i figured I would throw it out there and see if anyone can get a quick answer.

I'm not familiar with the K-Series motors, but I do know that on the older B and D series engines you can just swap out the TPS sensor.

I found some info and it seems that Acura just does not sell the TPS separate from the TB. I found an aftermarket TPS (Omni), but I can't seem to tell if it is strictly for the Type-S, or if it will work on the base K motor as well.

I found that, which is a TPS from Omni Power that is listed to work with the base RSX (there is another model for the Type-s, which makes me feel better). He's going to order it up and we'll give it a shot.
