What part of JA was this? Looks to be around the Negril side. Kingston is where most of the cars are. St. Catherine on the road to Spanishtown was the first place I saw drifting way back in the early 90's. Nice cars and amazing/crazy drivers.

it was a mix between Kingston and Mo-Bay. I spent christmas at my aunts house in spanishtown, then took the long 4hr trip from there to Mo-bay, stayed a day at her apartment and then spent New Years in Ocho Rios. I had ALOT of time so i decided to take pics of cars that i saw.
i went to the movies just a little while ago and saw 2 VR-4's 2 AMAZING Evo's and another Skyline, an R33 i beleive. oh and there are an abundance of Nissan sunny's in JA

i've been to jamaica 5 times, but i bet it was nothing like the experience you had. I had the more tourist vacation deal...shopping, resorts, etc....looks like you had the real deal experience. I love it down there. one day i will go back

I was there for my 2nd time staying, as a matter of fact, im my aunts house too. We were on Sugarmill in Montego Bay. I too saw a few nice cars. JDM Evo IV, 1 STi, etc.
NOTHING compares to my trip to Grand Caymen island though. I saw a dozen built Skylines, Supras were left and right, a couple NSX's that sounded like small amounts of C4 going off as they drove by. More awesome cars that I could ever begin to list. It was truely the most unbelievable automotive expirence Ive ever had outside of a car.

yeah ive been to jamaica god knows how many times (my mom was born and raised in kingston) so i dont just go to ocho rios and go to resorts n such, i think it is sooo much better to get the actual jamaican expirence. sucks i gotta leave in like 4 hours. i am gunna try to take pic of some stuff around my aunts house, the architecture is amazing. screw the mosquitoes though haha

Its amazing how diverse that culture is. Driving down the road you'll see a lady washing clothes in a stream and then 100 yds away you'll see Steven Segals vacation mansion. lol

Man that looks just like Mandeville. Is your aunt a "returnee"?
Best country on earth.
Oh yeah, if you don't know anyone there or can't blend in very well, PLEASE don't go exploring on your own, you will die or be robbed, or both. Sad to say.

by returnee what do you mean.
and yeah i always get a weird feeling when i go out by myself. jamaica has a very high crime rate. If you are white ( not trying to be racist) locals look at you differently. I blended in except for the $800 camera i was holding when i was walking down the street haha

bah... it's not as bad as people make it out to be. tourists are what bring the locals money, they love tourists in an annoying kind of way. Just pretend like you speak german and they leave you alone
I saw mad Early gen Evo's when I was down there last year and went to a few Rally events.. I def want to go back to jamaica, my wife and I got married down there.

that seems like an awesome trip
I really like the b&w photo of the lamp post and the ocean
you seem to get a lot more vignetting in your shots than I do and we have the same setup, what's with that?

Is that the hotel with the boat the Holiday Inn Sunspree in Mobay? Every saturday night around Doctor's Cave in Mobay there's a Subaru crew which meets. Mostly JDM besides a sonic yellow rex and an aspen white STI. What's your aunt's last name? (mom's from Westmoreland, and i spent most vacations growing up at our place in Halfmoon.)
