I love this site just for the fact that whether it be you have a 100 HP Kia, 600 HP Supra, or 1000 HP Mustang, you are treated as an equal and welcome to participate in this forum including almost all make and model vehicles. The people here may disagree with one’s idea of how they modify their vehicle, but are constructive in their criticism if any. Just in my local area there are 3-4 meets almost weekly where they post up of meeting the individual behind the vehicle, not an utter domination of every car on the site. Further more, I feel you would run someone off the road if they got a half a length on you just to save face.

Sorry there Fonzarelli, I grew out of that mindset long ago and avoid people like you whether or not your car is fast. You are actually adding to the “stereo-type” tuner that equates modding a vehicle to driving recklessly on public roads. They are trying to pass laws like they have in California, where absolutely no aftermarket parts will be allowed on any vehicles and will fail inspection until the OEM part is installed. I personally like the Nevada law where they crush your car if found guilty of street racing.

If you are skilled at tuning and Motorsports in general, why in the world would you introduce yourself like that on this kind of forum if not for just outright self-righteousness and egotistical feeding? Seems like a real waist of a teachable talent.

Here is one of the most influential people that sparked my interest in tuning automobiles ever since high-school. Frank Soldridge is one of the best tuners of Stangs around here (and owns and operates PSI Performance). I remember a time he owned a Shelby Charger and whooped on Mustangs but could remain humble enough to teach than to taunt. Whether you decide on mild tune for reliability or wild tuning for performance, it was the interest in having a car that was unique and met one’s desire for a thrilling ride in the end that makes "tuning" fun, even in a group of differant automobiles.

Anywho, yes my name is Carlo. Yes, I own a 70 Mustang and an 03 Mustang Cobra. Here's a picture of both of them together so you know I'm not making stuff up. I was coming up to West Chester tonight and was hoping I could stir some stuff up and see the crowd who hangs out up there. Unfortunately it rained. Again, I was just messing around. I'm not serious. There is always a faster car, and there is always a nicer looking car. Here are some pictures as promised. First is of the two mentioned cars, second two are of my race Honda (Joke).

I was hoping one of the guys who knows me personally would see this first and blow my cover, but alas I'd rather not get lynched. I'm not some noob, I don't run people off the road, I don't kill babies to prove my points and I've never made six pound five ounce baby jesus cry.

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Delaware, I work at Dupont as an Engineering Intern working with Kevlar and soft body armor. My 70 Mustang was my first car, and the description of it is accurate thus far. One small detail was left out, the fact that it was taken apart 3 months ago and instead of putting it back together I bought the Cobra. The picture of my two cars is the driveway at my parents house and working on my cars when I live 25 miles away is difficult.

So anyhow, I hope you can see through this post that I'm not actually a toolbox and I was genuinely just trying to start stuff. If you'd like to come out I will be in Newark tomorrow evening and then up off Rt 1/202 on Sunday night. I don't run on the street, but I will occasionally get caught up in a spirited drive.

I'm actually a fan of all sorts of engineering and engines. I prefer foreign cars nine times out of ten, and have owned two Hondas in the past. My Grand Marquis was built in Canada, and my Mustangs are the only cars I own built in America. Half of the parts on both cars were more than likely manufactured/designed or assembled overseas.

It’s been stated already, however, if you posted up pictures, stats, and the hard work you’ve put into your car, you’d have just as many replies as you currently have in this thread. (Unfortunately people who know of you are now calling you out.) There are several domestics on here – Corvettes, Camaros, and Cobras, with whom I’m very impressed with. Like mentioned by 05GT, if this were posted in ANY automotive forum he might have been banned immediately or flamed.
