Awesome! That's what multiple 3000 horsepower engines and hundreds of tons do and it really is amazing how effortless they plow!

Its cool till they get stuck here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF2ZPRmocs4&feature=related) and then derail here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql6MYFO4ihA&feature=related) all from plowing snow. Still its pretty insane, but here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOr4ekEZ49s&NR=1) is a normal train without a plow going through a snow bank

Sweet. You could probably make the two huge snow banks it makes into a nice kicker and landing for snowboarding. Talk about sweet video footage, front side 540 over a moving train!

Lol. The one in the first video has a displacement of 645 cubic inches PER CYLINDER. And it was a turbo V-16 good for 3000 hp. They're all electric after the motor, so there is massive torque. 6 500-600 volt electric motors, one for each wheel. The engine code for the locomotive in the first vid is EMD645E3. Look at my username

I <3 t3h trains.

Yea me and my dad are into trains and those snow videos are awesome. We have a pretty big model layout setup with a model rotary snow plow which is pretty cool.
