I highlighted my hair for 7 years straight. I stopped about 2 years ago to let it all grow out so I could start fresh again. I had 4-5 inches cut off and that actually took off the rest of the dyed part. I was going to get it highlighted when I got it cut, but then I decided to take it one step at at time.
