Please for the love of god set them up properly and make sure your headlights are aimed correctly. I've come across quite a few cars who's headlights are flat out blinding. I've actually had to pull off the road a couple times to allow the person behind me to pass because there lights were aimed way to high.

why dont you just flip your rear view mirror so it doesnt get you in the eyes, or tint ur windows?

How about you properly install your headlights.

I agree with Evolved, I spent a good hour or so after putting in my projection lights just to get them set right. Nothing gets to me more than a car with one lazy eye and the other one aimed right at your face.

It's easier to flip the mirror. :)

What about the side mirrors, genius? Should I flip those too? And what about opposing traffic?

Stare at the yellow line below you when you are blinded, thats what I was always told.

Worst case you pull over and let them pass you if they are behind you.

Even cars with OEM HID's blind people, with stock cars and stock height. Are you going to make them "readjust" their stock headlights?

You are never going to get everyone to fix their headlights, if you get 1 or 2 people to fix them good job, now get cracken on the 1000's of others who dont give 2 ****'s about their headlights.

or

you could do your own maintenance, like tinting the windows which would allow you to block the light beaming in from the side mirrors...

As for the people that are head on, it'll go away in a second, there just passing by.

Instead of ridding the whole world of a disease, just make yourself immune.

Nice try, I have OEM HIDS. Elevation changes are the only time any properly set up headlight would be an issue.

i understand if your venting, perfectly justified, but you cant actually expect everyone to abide by your complaint...
Become president and put the bill in congress that we have to have evaluated headlight tests with inspection, that will crackdown on a b s o l u t l y nothing, because a lot people that pass inspection really didnt pass inspection. I know i never pass. But i have real...authentic stickers and results to prove i did.

I'm not trying to get anyone to fix anything. All I'm saying is this, if your going to modify your headlights do it properly.

I can't believe that anyone has a problem with that I'm saying. It's simple road safety.

It is part of the inspection!

(xii) The headlamps are out of adjustment as follows:

(A) Mechanical aimer:

(I) The horizontal aim is more than 4 inches to the left or right.

(II) The vertical aim is higher or lower than 4 inches from center.

(B) Screen or photo electric type tester. See Charts 1—3 (relating to headlight aiming screen distance and marking identification; high beam inspection limits; and low beam inspection limits).

(I) Turn the lamps on high beam and reject if the center of the beam is horizontally more than 4 inches to the right or left of ‘‘straight ahead’’ or if center of light beam is vertically more than 4 inches above or below horizontal line.

(II) Turn the lamps on low beam and reject if the upper edge of the beam is more than 4 inches above or below horizontal center line of headlamp or if inner edge of beam is more than 4 inches to the right or left of the vertical line.

and to help remedy this problem, here are 2 links to instructions on how to properly aim your headlights. its just as possible yours are aimed too low and you're not making the most of your light output so check your headlight levelling sometime and get them not too low, not too high... jusssst right.

So basically you want him to do something illegal because someone else screwed up and can't install headlights correctly?

Brilliant! Just brilliant!

auto leveling headlights ftw...

but in the event you dont have this feature, you should be able to easily aim your headlights. even if you don't have the appropriate measurements, pull your car up to a wall and give those lights a little tweaking.
