I know a friend of mine Dan Akerman was selling a red N/A on Craigslist from Lansdale. Can't seem to find the add now but it was in awesome shape. Needed a clutch, but that's cake.

I have some hardcore Mr2 loving friends. One of them even tatoo'd the midship runabout symbol on his back and has a right hand drive Mr2 turbo. The other one just picked up an Mr2 turbo after owning 2 previous to that one.

i had a boosted MKII and was in love with it. AWESOME cars, easily one of the most under-rated sports cars of the 90's. definitly check out mr2oc.com's sale section, like lagos said, you can always find what you're looking for on there. also, MR2trader.com might help. goodluck!

I found two great deals on MR2s on craigslist. There is a site called craigshelper that lets you search states and cities by car. There were some great deals in the DC, VA area a few months ago.

I dont have pics but, I can say that Steves (pharnhyte) car is in good shape. Runs very strong too as I drove it at a recent meet to see what stock exhaust sounded like. He also has an HID kit that is amazing.

thanks dan:)
The body is pretty good, the paint is good for a 19 year old car, but its not perfect, remember this car is as old as most of us lol, but everything works, and it runs great.
Interior and all of that crap is good, manual windows, for all of those interested in light weight.
I'd be looking for 3400.
Not many black mr2's or mr2's at all to choose from.
183xxx miles runs good, suspension is great, good gas mileage

Nope. Especially the NA's. There is a turbo mr2 for sale with almost 400k miles on it for 9 grand on the mr2 board.
Toyota motors, and Honda motors are alike, they last forever, maintenance wise, I have to give it Toyota because they are non interference motors. Forget to change a timing belt on a Integra, you can kinda kiss the head goodbye.

that was a six puck clutch? Haha I didnt even think twice... It was very smooth compared to mine though so that makes sense.
Either way 183k is nothing for the n/a 5sfe. There are people on the owners club boards that have holes in the block and 200k miles and it still runs strong. There was even a thread about a guy that bought his car new and hit 300k on the ORIGINAL motor....plus this is Steves 4th duece so he knows how to treat em good and buying one off of him, you'll get a well treated car with no bs!
Alls it takes is some normal lovin... Give it more and you get more and it doesnt talk back :). I beat the crap out of my car sometimes, and it doesnt think twice.
