Eibach sportlines

Can i get some feedback on the eibach sportlines lowering kit because im thinking of getting them for my 2000 civic ex

I had them on my Eclipse GS (FWD/Non-turbo) they were excellent ride quality and perfect height. I had 17" rims and only about 1/4" gap between that and my fender wall. IMO they are a great bargain for the money.

I have Eibachs on the 7 right now and I like them. Good ride and quality springs.

do i need shocks along with my springs, cause i dont wanna

It would be a good idea to get shocks/struts with the springs since you are doing all that work (taking the shocks/struts off your old springs) in the first place. If you don't mind spending the time to do it again, then no, you don't have to. It's just recommended since suspension can be a PITA, especially since you should really do an alignment shortly after install.

P.S. I agree about Eibach's, I put the Pro-Kit on my GSX and I love it.

i had them on my integra, vary nice drop and ride..didnt do the shocks just springs and alignment. oh and camber, dont forget to fix the camber.

Generally, you want to replace the struts/shocks when doing springs. Stock struts/shocks most of the time won't last very long w/lowering springs. They were designed to work w/stock springs and travel. On the cheap, you could do GR-2s or AGXs for some adjustability.

And you can't really go wrong w/Eibachs.

i wasn't fond of my sportlines on my 00 ex civic coupe...
i switched them out for some ground controls..

I love the sportlines on my Si, but it sux with stock shocks... Def. need to upgrade them or just go full coilovers.
