Quick question. I over heard some one today at dinner say that he had called all 50 states asking if he could drive in their state with just a learners permit. :bs: I don't think this is true, but I want your answer. Thanx Sarge.

Yeah my BS meter goes off on this on too. :iagree:

With the internet it is possable to get that info, but calling every DMV come on.

Why bother calling Hawaii?:screwy:

Thats what I was thinking. I think he is just an attention whore. But thanks for the answer. Next time I see him, I'm going to let him know that.

Why it would just give him more attention, Let him swing and just know hes full of it.

Yeah. I don't know what he was thinking when he said that. Thanks for the info on that. I thought you couldn't drive in any other state but the state your curretly living in with a learners permit.

In NJ heres the rules for a learners permit.

Practice supervised driving for at least six months
Please observe the following restrictions during the supervised driving period:
No driving between 11:01 p.m. and 5 a.m.
You must be accompanied by an Adult Supervising Driver (at least 21 years old and licensed to drive for at least 3 years) in the front seat
Passengers must be from your household. Only one additional person from outside your household is allowed
You can't use cell phones, hand held video games or any other hand held electronic device
Seat belts must be worn at all times
Exemptions for employment or religious reasons
