As the title states. Looking to find something for my WRX for christmas, under $200 dollars.
My car already has HIDS, a head unit, springs and a catback. Looking for some little goodies that I wouldn't normally buy myself, but would take as a gift.
Help!

I wont be tracking it anytime soon. Not really my thing. I like it as a comfy daily driver with some goodies to it.
I took it down the drag strip once, thats about it.
I was thinking about asking for an unpainted Limited spoiler, but I really dont want to put more money into that :P

Hella Horna, Mud Flaps, JDM Oil Cap, JDM Hazard button, or a shift knob?

End links, stage 1 brake package from gruppe-s or a down pipe.

rear sway bar if you like handling or a downpipe if you're interested in taking the modding that far.

Then also get a tune for christmas! You don't need an AP, just go to TurboTek.

you cant do it without an ap?
and what about flashing with enginuity? its free. there are quite a few free base maps out there as well that you could use, or even better you could spend a little money and get ray to give you a road tune to get things running well. either way, i think you'll be shocked at the performance difference on the 2.5L with a turboback and tune, you wont regret it.

im knew to the subaru world... didnt know they had free tuning softwares ;)
looks like ill hae some pming to do.
i havent been back to the dealer since i bought it.... but i obviously got this car brand new for the warranty. can the dealer tell if itsbe flashed by that free program? thats the only thing really holding me back from doing a tune. that and emissions =p

you can have a catless turboback and a reflash that will erase the CEL from it, and you should be 100% ready to pass OBD2 emissions testing. :)
one of the great things to happen in recent times in the subaru / evo world is enginuity... the website is down temporarily but ray can talk to you about everything you want to know.

You can just flash it back to stock if you ever need to go in.

An hks downpipe is $175 or so. Have ray flash his nice stage 2 map on there for the ridiculously low price he charges and you'll be really happy.
Also www.turninconcepts.com has a lot of the random bushings for under $100.

eh, get a better downpipe from the start, even if its used. in fact used is good imo, a downpipe isnt going to go bad, what you see is what you get.

Used downpipe and a trip to Ray.
Or some tint?

Well I don't think asking for a used downpipe would be a good gift, but if I can get a new one for $175 shipped to my house I think it is a good deal.
$180 for a full tune by Ray, or $55 for a reflash to an OTS map.
Hmm1!!

The full tune is significantly better. I honestly would only use an off the shelf map to drive around until I can get to my tuner! But it will show some real gains still.

It sucks because Ill just be sitting on the downpipe until I can get the cash together to get the full tune lol
If I do end up getting an HKS downpipe, will it fit the SPT catback? I'm doing research now to no avail.

as long as the spt uses a 3" flat flange instead of the stock donut gasket.

ohhh... i'm pretty sure the spt uses a donut gasket flange, so in order to mate up to that properly you're going to want to get a downpipe that also uses a donut gasket flange. i'm honestly not sure what your options are as far as that goes.
the other option would be to sell the spt catback and get a whole new turboback, and you can go to a full 3" in the process if you want. maybe ask for the tune as a present and buy the turboback yourself.

get a replica v-limited lip.

i like my spt catback... id like to keep it. maybe ill just have my exhaust shop chop off the donut flange to make it fit the stock piping.
i think the limited lip with stock wheels would look dumb.

thats why you get wheels down the road.
