Here is a solution. I purchased a couple of these infrared lamps 2 years ago to heat my garage. They didn't do so well, but they do have a great purpose.

Late yesterday, I had to replace the front brake pads/rotors on my van, which doesn't fit in my garage without lots of destruction. So, sitting in my driveway, 38* outside....I set one of the lamps on the ground next to me. It heated the whole area, myself, the tools, and the area of the van to be repaired. I was actually sweating.

Set one of these up with a tri-pod, and your cold weather repairs/mods will be totally bearable.

I just bought a kerosene heater for my garage... I may have to pick one of these up. I like that its electric.

Nice, But I'm just tired of fixing my car. Do you have any solutions for that? Maybe i should install one of these near my fuel tank.
