The first three runs I think the trans was a bit heat soaked. I had been driving for a couple hours running errands and she didn't get any down time before running. There was a 1-2 slight hesitation which went away for the last run after I let her sit for about an hour or so. That also netted me my fastest run. I think that she may have had a 13.4 in her, if I staged a bit higher (shootin for a 1.9 60') and the trans was nice and cool, but people started breaking and I was WAY in the back of the pack, so I called it a night.

i really doubt you didn't do anything to drop .5 seconds off your time. You prob tuned it. But that is still a good run

Not to disappoint you, but those runs are BONE stock. All I did was remove the spare tire. Nothing done to the vehicle, stock right down to the paper air filter.

I've driven a couple of those trucks at my work. Its one of the very few chevys I would buy, they're fast as ****.

Thanks for the support man. Yeah, surprised me too. I was hoping for 13.7, 13.8's...Suffice it to say, I left the track with a HUGE smile

You should bracket race that thing. Very consistant and you might just make it far.

nice runs!!!!

when you say stage higher??? are you talking about a deep stage? personly i wouldnt do that unless you are looking for good R/Ts. just ever so lightly trigger the second stage lights, that way in theroy you have a slight roll before starting the clock. if you know what i mean

when i was in Memphis last month at the LSX Shootout i saw the worlds fastest TBSS. it was baddddd asssss went 10.6s

No need to stage deep unless you are in a bracket. It will not effect your e.t. as long as you sit there. Stage normal and concentrate on your launch. You don't have to leave on the last amber.

I would have left with the same smile. Nice runs and you should consider bracket racing

His 60 foot dropped on each run except for one. That is one reason why his et got better.

damn thats one fast suv. i knew they were quick, but i didn't realize they were that quick. I saw one the last time i went to atco go like 13.0 or 12.9, but that was with a shot of nitrous

Thanks for the compliments guys. Yeah, they are pretty quick and them LS2's respond fairly well to mods.

When I mentioned staging higher, I meant as far as the stall goes. I was testing launching at higher RPM's to shoot for that 1.9 60'...I think a tune should get me that 1.9 and my performance guru was telling me that a tune alone with those same temps will net me a 13.2 easily...WOOT!!

you'd be suprised at how much the temps and DA effect times on N/A LS2's...3-4 10ths difference easy between a 70* day and a 40* day at atco

congrats on the new best thats movin for that heavy ass truck...i know alot of GTO guys that cant go that fast with mods...lol

lol...Thanks for the heads up, but that has been like my second home for a while now. I just haven't been there in a bit. Matt did work to my Cobalt, and he will be doing all the mods that I can't do. Good people there for sure. ****, I even wore a Tune Time Performance hat while I was running my 13's...
