i represent emra, a northeast race sanctioning body....we will be at pocono 8/20 and 9/10-11; also lime rock 9/23-24......both september dates will feature sprint races, enduros and time trials for street cars....basically any safe car can participate..you get about 1 1/2 hours on track plus your 5 timed laps...there also is a classroom session and instructors are available for 1st timers....the 8/20 date is for an enduro run in conjunction with pda....we also will be at watkins glen in october....tt's, sprints and a 3 hour enduro....as i am new here i will give a little background..i instruct for n.a.s.a, emra, tar heel sports car club and svtoa...maybe now pda also...for the last 3 years i have raced a focus svt in enduros with emra....started with them in 1970 in a formula vee...hope to see you at the races....oh and crew help always needed

hey, i'm really glad that you're posting this stuff on the site... this is exactly what i want more of here.
all of the info you just posted is worth an individual thread for each event though... if you have the time do you mind posting about each individual event with details all typed out so everything we need to know is there, including cost?
also, put the date and location in the title so people have a bit more to associate with it.

you can..pocono is usually open to reg at the track..but better to go to site www.emraracing.org and down load registration and send it in ahead of time or set up a driver profile and do it online at the site you do have to buy a license for the time trials but it is good for the rest of the year great bunch of people very laid back but very safe if nothing else check it out if you are not too far away entry to the track is free, just have to sign a waiver and we always have good beer for the bench racing sessions after cars are off track the sign in the back window of squirt the race car says it all "my drinking team has a racing problem"

bryan no problem at all..i am but your neighborhood crack, oops i mean track dealer...love to get people hooked on safe, fast driving...my 2 co-drivers in the longer enduros are both former students from track days

and hey, may be a noob, but not in joisy anymore...have lived on the southern chesapeake bay for last 16 years! :rock:
