I hate scum! robbed

I had a hockey game tonight and during the game both teams locker rooms were robbed. The scum took only cash and only $10 dollar bills and up, left the $1's and $5's. Total from both teams I think was over $200.

Seriously, what is wrong with people? To top it all off, the rink of course takes no responsibility, they have a sign. They have no cameras, they had to spend the money on state of the art flat screens to display the rink assignments and most of the doors don't lock and if they did it wouldn't matter. The locker rooms are connected by a bathroom so even if you lock your room the one next to you is left open so its a pass through.

Most ice rinks don't have that.... it really shouldnt be called a 'locker' room anymore. My teams been robbed in the same way in my day... what rink??

Ha no locker, its an ice rink. Just a room with wooden benches and a 2x4 with nails in it above your head to hang your clothes on. As most ice rinks are its a **** hole, almost nothing works right. I am not mad about the loss of property, everyone is OK and that is what really matters. What pisses me off is that there are fewer and fewer places where one can feel truly safe.

good ol grundy. We caught a kid in our locker rooms once...but he said he was just looking for tape....riiiiight. I always take my wallet and phone and keys out with me on the ice in a little bag.

i remember when they built that place....i used to live right behind it. next to the body shop up on New buckley st. the last time i was there i popped a blood vessel in my head, broke my orbit bone (around my eye), and had a severe concussion. good times. my eye was the size of a soft ball

I love how places can put up signs that say "we're not responsible for anything" and walk away scott free for not monitoring their property from theft. I love it.
