well i work at porsche specific shop in northern new jersey,i have been working here since march and im really happy that I got the opportunity to work here and have a good platform since im only 17,i have taken pictures of a lot of cars that have came in,unfortunatley they are all from a cell phone but they are not to bad,well enjoy

i would do anything for the oppurtunity you have. im 16 and want to do something exactly like you are doing. by the way gt3rs's are freaking nuts. saw one at a dealer one time those this sound disgusting

yeah i know i got the opportunity of a lifetime,over the summer i worked full time,i took part in turning a stock 993 tt into an all out track car,i stripped everything off the car and painted the inside after the roll cage went in,even fabbed some parts myself,ive swapped calipers on cayanne witch was pretty cool,those are just things that were fun to me,ive taken off plenty of exhausts also,my boss is a great guy and he really knows i love being there now i just work for a little while after school maintaing the shop and doing small tasks,my auto teacher at school is in the PCA(porsche club of america) and asked if i lived near there and i said yeah and he said they were good guys so i called them up and explained myself and what i wanted to do and he told me to come down,then we talked and said so can you start coming in and i said sure with a big smile on my face,he said i sounded like a good kid and really interested on the phone and that was really the decision point so anyone going for a job really do your best even if it's just on the phone, i am going to attend uti in august and im going to do my best in getting into the Porsche PTAP program at the end of my course and im sure working at Protosport for a year and 1/2 and if my boss made a few phone calls i can better my chances of being accepted,after that im gonna try and work for a dealer when the time comes then depending on where im located i will definetly be back at protosport,dealer stuff is boring but I think it would be a good expeirence to have some time there,yeah were pretty busy all the time too,theres a car there with texas plates that was shipped,people are driving from vermont and new hampshire and all over,were pretty well rocognized,one8turbo if you really would like to work on this stuff see if there are any local shops by you,i had no idea this place even existed and i live 5 minutes away,i hope i answered everything ha

theres a red RUF slantnose behind the 996 turbo with black wheels,it was my boss's and now its his good friends with the gt3rs,proto is owned by two partners,my one boss has a yellow 01 turbo,a cayanne,and his 05 dodge turbo diesel dually to pull that big trailer,my other boss has the silver hemi,and a 90 black turbo,hes the one that also owned the red RUF,ive also seen a RUF 996 turbo
