running a 3.54 liter and 24psi.

it ran like 4-5 9.0X. they are soo close!

that was a 1.4 sixty foot but yea it looked like the car was bogging its still really good for only being at 24psi no nitrous.

maybe they should add a real tiny shot of nitrous just to push it into the 8's. LOL Somethin like a 100shot. Sick car, good driver.

i think the idea is a no spray car. these bad boys have come a long way and its awesome to see a car that heavy take off that agressivly. look at some older race videos and while the cars run fast times they don't look that nasty off the line. this 3s kills it. all wheel peel ftw

He doesn't need nitrous. He only stopped at 24 psi because he needs bigger injectors. He's only got 780's in there I believe, and at 24 psi he started running pretty lean. Also, the track shut down for the season that night before he could get another run in.

hahaha, the camera guy sounds so bummed after the first two runs.
I guess there are worse things than being disappointed in a 9.05 though. I also didn't realize people were still pushing those cars, pretty cool.

This was also at like 5,000 ft or something ridiculous. Have you seen Nelson lately, I would love to see him in the 8s first.

Nelson is using the stock tranny in his "street car". 3sx has the automatic one.

where's the 'chute on the one in the video? car is pretty quick, and gets out of the hole good for not launching off a two step.

3SX is back to their 6 speed, they only had the auto in there for a couple runs because it kept breaking 4th.

Regardless of him not driving his own car, his wallet is helping further the platform, so don't discredit the man so quickly.
