Cheap Truck

I may be selling my 94 4Runner. It is fully loaded. Has 40k on a new engine. shows 97k on the odometer. It is in good shape. Haven't really thougth of a price. what is your buddy looking to spend

actually he wants a pickup but the 4runner i might have to keep for myself! what kind of condition is it in? any ballpark price in mind? i've been in the market for a beater but ideally i'd like not to spend more than a grand or two! :rolleyes:

yeah 1k is not quite enought just dumped 1800 into it. It is in good condition. Paint is ok. has big tires on it. Leather... sunroof fully loaded. I am taking it to the mechanic tomorrow. So my price may drop. I will keep ya posted. Let me know if you still have some interest.

My dad was thinking about selling one of his work trucks. NOt sure on the year, late 80's/early 90's F250 pickup. I'll ask today if he still wants to get rid of it and get a price if he does.

It has a slight oil leak(i think) I am going to have it looked at. It is either coming from the oil filter or it is from the 4wheel drive case. Not going to mess around with it jsut going to have it fixed. I will keep ya posted.

HEH- well, i started this for my cousin, who needs wheels b/c he's getting into too much trouble w/his rx-7. HOWEVER, i would like a 'beater' as it were, so if something does go wrong with teh wagon, i have back-up wheels to get to work. hopefully this 4runner wouldn't be problematic by the time it cam eto me!

Sorry that post got in late. Your post wasn't up yet. Anyway. I bought this because I wanted some easier to get my daugter in and out of then my R32. So this came about and I made a rash decision and bought it. Was inexpensive. Looked good, one owner blah blah. Well I put money into it and now it runs like a champ. So as I said I will let you know how I make out at the Mech. I am taking it in on thursday. This is a little step up from a beater. It is good transpertation. Plus it has 4wheel drive and it has all the comforts. Air works great. Huge sun roof. It is big. Has the V6(it is a gas guzzler). Has the big tires on it. A/C is really cold. Even has a heater for teh people in the back set. Also has a CD changer. The issues are mostley cosmetic. Some rust, scratches and the clear coat in spots is coming off. But again the car is 11 years old. Anyway I will try and get some pictures up and I will keep you guys posted.

Should Have an answer today about the car. Comes back from the Mech. Here is a pic.

Update.. Got an answer,,,, I am open to offers. Car has a leaky head gasket. not urgent to fix, just have to keep your eye on the oil. So I as I said I am open to offers. Truck runs solid.
