well sunday 10/28 was the big GTO race down at atco raceway...beautiful day for racing with negative DA's...only downside was the 15-20mph headwind we had ALL day. The car had been running 12.0's @ 115mph all day the last few times i ran at the track, so this time i came prepared with some weight reduction and skinnies up front.

pb for the day was as follows

1.702 60'
4.939 330
7.554 1/8th @ 94.63
9.825 1000
11.734 @ 118.87

with a PB MPH of 119.77 for the day, which is unheard of in GTO land for a "cam only" car. i pretty much took out the back seats, the passenger seat and a 35lb bracket that protects the car during a rear end collision. all together i probably saved about 150lbs by doing so. Im running a medium cam, headers, intake, tune, 3.91 gears, and slicks/skinnies, stock heads and intake manifold. Overall im pretty happy with the car even though i broke out in my class. i dialed in at 11.75 and told myself id go home happy if i broke out and went faster, and thats exactly what happend. Ah well theres always next year:mrgreen:

lol..I have my FTB still..but the rest of that, including full trunk/spare/rear seats are gone. I took out the rear trim pieces, but put em back. BTW, 19mm for the seat belts!

My spare was crushed with the previous owner. So i've been car less...oh and i greased up the brackets like a mofo. Instead of jacking this thread more, ill send you pics if Firestone ever returns my car. I think I found a solution, and it requires a whole new type of bracket.

Nice runs. Pretty damn quick, especially for the stock intake manifold.
