Was on my way home from school and route 34 was backed up. It was ****ty and rainy out (wednesday) and EVERYONE was gonna either make a left or go straight through the light way down at the end of the line. The right onto 520 was open so I hopped in the shoulder and chugged along around 7-8 mph in the shoulder for a few cars length when i passed a cop seemingly pulling around in a lot to sit and watch people.

i made an immediate right into a dirt parking lot of a brock farms and pulled around facing the road, he pulled...over along me.

he asked what i was doing and i said going to brock farms which was across the street ( i would normally make a left across a double yellow or i suppose technically and legally find a u-turn quite a bit up 34) he said i was flying to which i responded no i wasnt which was the truth because i have a 93 escort for a beater and the 175 13s suck in wet conditions.

he takes my information, comes back and says he's towing my car since my license is expired. now, i moved back to NJ 8/3/06 and tried to get my NJ license. I have a typo on my birth certificate and the DMV wouldnt accept it as a form of ID so they recommended I get a passport...I applied for that and they gave me the same BS about my birth certificate and I had to send in a bunch of documentation and the whole thing is taking months and months and months. So I needed to get to brookdale and I need to get to work so I drive on it while trying to abide by what the DMV and passport agency want.

I passed a few cars on the right and was really wanting to go to the open lane done yonder past the traffic. I was in the wrong but I wasnt flying. Any advice?

Is it possable to get your birth certificate fixed in the state you were born if so that may be alot easier then the passport... As for the summons sorry your out of luck there you can try going to court and see if they will make youa plea deal. I doubt it will help.. Paying your fine and getting that NJ DL is really all you can do sorry I couldn't help you out better.
