Buying a spoiler primed for $80 or buying it painted for $160?

Not getting either and spending that money on some suspension parts or some rims.

Zing!
Agreed, but to answer the question... you should be able to get it painted for less than the difference. Go get an estimate somewhere local and see what they'd charge.
I agree on the suspension bits, get a rear sway or something, it'll be a lot more fun than the wing. Just trying to point you in another direction.

If you paint it yourself it will be cheaper. If you get it painted by a reputable shop it'll cost a lot more. So it all depends on the quality. On the other hand how is it going to look if you buy it prepainted....?

$80 for a GOOD paintjob sounds well worth it to me. it will save you the time and the hassle of having it painted yourself. as long as you can expect the paint to be good quality and match then i'd say just get it prepainted.

Guys, does it really matter if he wants to make the car look good or go fast. My feeling is this list isn't as much about going fast as it is about just shooting the ****. And when we are all just hanging out at Absolute Steaks its all about the looks and not who is fastest out of the parking lot....
