i'm looking to get a set of slicks for my car. i'm not sure what size to get, i keep hearing different things. i'd like to see what someone is running with the same kind of power.
i'm going to get a set of rota RBs 13x8
slicks i'm looking at;
22x8
23x8
24x8
24.5x8
i'm running a 50 shot now, but the jets for the 100 shot are on the way. the motor will be built over the winter and i will up the shot even more

You dont need full slicks. get a pair of mickey thompson et streets. A guy i know is using them on his 7 second mustang

How much power are you making, what kind of gearing does that Saturn have?
Anything under 300whp you'll be fine with 23x8x13s.

I have a set of used 24.5x8.5x13 if you need them. They were good enough to net me a 10.8 in my car.

Orginal poster already said he wants slicks. With only 176 hp you really just need to learn how to drive the car. My all motor daily driver make 184 at the wheels and I have no problem getting that to hook on ****ty street tires.

I don't see you going faster than 105 with that 100 shot honestly. 23s sound good to me.
Haha, I have similar gearing, but my top speed is like 132 with 24.5s. Honda rev limit FTW!:)

learn to drive? how? you can't pedal a nitrous car(effectively anyway)

Jebus, how much does that damn thing weigh?
Either way, if you're building the motor, rev the damn thing higher. Going to 24.5s will slow you down for sure, they're just too big of a tire for ~225-250whp that you'll have with the 100 shot.

the lightest i've ever had the car was 1995. but with the bottle it weighs a little more.
i rev to 7200 when i put the auto computer in, that will get me 117 with the 23'' slicks. 122 with the 24s. but i don't like running the auto pcm because it has no rev limiter at all.

1995, that would explain a lot haha.
Honestly, that extra 500rpms is going to help you tremendously. Doooooo it!

what kind of suspension are you running? my buddy got impressive gains in his drag civic by going with really stiff rear springs.
