If you were looking for to buy a new M powered car right now is the time to buy. BMW is having a hard time unloading these cars and they want to get rid of them before the new 135i arrives. Someone on the s2k forums just picked up an MCoupe brand new out the door for 42k. It's an awesome deal, I'd definately get one if I wasn't so interested in the new M3. Well, thats it, just a headsup for anyone who is interested.
I wish they had this deal for the porsche cayman s because they aren't selling too well either, I'd forget about the new m3 for a porsche lol.
Wait so what year M coupe? And what M series you mean?

M5's are sedan mang....he is talking about the Z4M Coupe and Roadster. It has the M motor/package and looks just like a Z4.
I think he is referring to brand new vehicles as well - i dont think BMW would give a rip about pre-owned cars not selling...
ANYWAYS, thanks for the headsup. I dont really care for the style of the new M Coupe (loved the older gen ones) but that is a great deal for the level of performance/refinement you get.
Bottom Line: Cayman S FTMFW!!!!!!!

Definitely a great deal, but like everyone else said, i would be all over the Cayman S before a M coupe.

Not for that price you're not. Cayman S fully loaded is like 120k lol.

The Z4 M coupe @ that price is a steal. Definatly worth checking out if you have the money for it, but I'm still keeping my eyes on the 135i...

Yeah, I was gonna say that there is no way a Cayman S is anywhere near 120k.
I think you guys are the ones that need to call a Porsche dealer. Go to the Porsche USA website and build your own porsche. The total should be around 110k plus taxes and all that stuff maybe they give you a little deal and bam you are at 120k. I just built a Cayman S and it came up to 108k.
The thing with the links you posted are those are demo's and they are not fully loaded.

Are you sure you're not thinking of a Carrera S or 4S? I guess those could be optioned up into the 100k range.

I looked at the links, some of them are pre-owned and the new ones aren't fully loaded. No carbon fiber package, no adaptive leather 2 tone seats, no preferred package. those 3 things alone are like 25k.
Like I said go to Porsche USA's website and build a fully loaded one. You asked me where I got my info? I'm telling you, Porsche.com/USA.

I honestly had no idea that the Cayman could be that tarted up. I built my own and the cost came out to $68k. Although, the absolute base model would work fine for me. I've never toyed around with "building my own Porsche", but that was the most extensive options list I've ever seen.

Honestly I wouldn't have known either except I saw the Top Gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson was like WTF?!?!
Then my friends and I were like mmhhh would you rather have 2 base Cayman S's or 1 fully loaded one lol. I chose 2 base models :mrgreen:

Well obviously..and by the looks of the Porsche site and ebay, thats what most people are choosing. For that fully loaded money, i'd buy a GT3. Easy.

There’s no way in hell I’m paying 120K for a Cayman S. Not when there’s the Carrera 4S, Turbo, and GT3 as options. Hell, buy an MR 9 and add your own options.
I’m not sure why anyone would pay that anyway.

Meh, I'll keep the AMG. :-p I considered the Cayman S and Carrera S, but I'm happy with the decision I made. The Z4M was never really on my list, it's too small for my liking.
